Match Discussion: PSF - The Boro (A)
I would split the two teams into the strongest we can make both sides, or maybe even consider making one team focus on attacking and the other on defence, but with an attacking mindset and some fringe players. This could give us some insight into how we will defend under pressure. It should be a nice day for us all.

Luke Williams on new signings and departures at Notts County
Luke Williams is a good leader, detailed and thoughtful. He clearly knew that giving Aaron Nemane time would increase the chances of him agreeing to a new deal. Losing Ruben Rodrigues is a loss, but at his age, it always seemed likely. Having a manager who wishes departing players well while focusing on the right things is a joy. His openness instills faith and belief, and it’s all very positive.

Aaron Nemane agrees to new two-year contract with Notts County
Aaron Nemane is a livewire for Notts, capable of keeping pressure on the opposition and getting Notts on the front foot. He’s a very good player, and we understand his importance. Retaining him feels like a coup, considering other higher-placed clubs were reportedly interested.

Notts Alumni: Mick Vinter
He was known as a powerful and tidy finisher, using his natural ability to give him an edge when playing. I remember when the news of his death hit, and although he was before my time, I felt saddened. The tributes paid by all his former clubs show how highly he was thought of. Despite some personal problems, we should remember him as the great player he was. It’s a shame that he suffered in his later years, and I can’t imagine what it must be like to suffer from dementia.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Pre-Season Preparations
It's great to see the new signings in action as we head into the friendly games. The squad's morale is still high following our promotion, and this is reflected in the season ticket sales. I'm feeling very encouraged by how things are going and I believe we'll be able to compete well against all the teams in League Two. The depth we have in positions is a bonus, and there's still time for one or two new faces to arrive. All in all, it's a promising start.

Horror Films: from classic to modern
My favourite film genres are thrillers, crime, comedy and horror. I don’t get much chance to watch them at the cinema now that I’m working. I used to go regularly with a group on Tuesdays and Fridays. The new Resident Evil film was great; the previous series was dreadful. I actually bought the remastered versions of Resident Evil I, II and Nemesis because people said the last one was so true to the franchise.

Nigel Nattrass: A Life Shaped by Notts County
It does sound like Notts has made a big impact on Nigel. Coming from a Notts family, it will always be in the blood, but I also think this is a great story. It’s nice to read into the background of fans. If Nigel reads this and can jump on board with PON, it’s a fantastic story!

Thought for the day
Being a good person is important. Your loved ones might not be as happy if they worry or are concerned about you. I have plenty of sprinkles in my life and I’m blessed by it.

Dan Crowley: Notts County’s Achievements and Style of Play a Winning Combination
I’m really pleased that Dan Crowley joined Notts. It’s wonderful to see a player who is excited and proud to be part of a club that is moving forward and playing football in the fourth tier of English football in the way it should be. I think his enthusiasm will bring a lot of positive energy to the team.

Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
I’m thrilled about the release of the fixtures. The opening games are very attractive and I believe there’s a high probability that we can start off strong and build momentum.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
It’s interesting that he may already have a friendship with John Bostock. I think once he settles and his confidence grows, along with the support of the fans, we may have signed a player with a good resale value. Not that this is the only consideration, but his quality could take us further with such a great squad.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
The birthday boy has scored another point - the correct answer is Darren Ward. I hope to share another round shortly. When I say the time, something crops up, but I suggest keeping a lookout. Well done, @Fan of Big Tone. @Fozzy @super_ram, you need to be quicker guys.

Notts County signs former Arsenal academy graduate Dan Crowley on 2-year-deal
I am also pleased by the arrival of Dan Crowley. He has the ability to help us gain promotion. The recruitment is finally allowing us to add the right depth, and I think this will be money well spent. He’s a very good player who can reach his full potential by playing in our squad.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
Where? No, keep guessing.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
@Fan of Big Tone Just to confirm, you’re asking me now if he played for Forest. Not re-asking me if you can ask the question? Yes.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
@super_ram KOP side, near County Road. There are a few more than 39 steps, but it’s the closest you’ll get with Notts involved.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
I can’t break the rules of the game though, so I am just sneaky with my wording at times. You can ask any questions you wish.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
I would hope so, it's the aim of the game after all. ????

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
Round 13 clue: This player was born in a town in Nottinghamshire and began his professional career with a local club. He later moved to another club in the same county for a significant fee and made a large number of appearances for them.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition

Why Jim O’Brien’s Extended Stay at Notts County is Great News
I think Jim O’Brien brings many benefits to the squad; he’s a great guy to help with morale and his fiery passion is enough to spark others’ lights when playing. Even though it’s one deal, it feels great to have him renew. He’s shared a great journey with us and it’s great that he persisted playing. Seeing him carry Aden Baldwin off the pitch was a great moment, but so were his expressions and joy.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Commits Future to Club
It feels like we lose far less now than we would normally do. It says a lot about our dressing room, club and morale in general. Although I wished Ruben had agreed to stay, I am pleased that we have Kyle Cameron on board along with Jodi Jones, Connell Rawlinson and Jim O’Brien. We just need Aaron Nemane to stay; roll on the Football League!

Jodi Jones on Representing Malta and Playing Against England
During the years I have supported Notts, we have had quite a few international players: Andre Boucaud, Jonathan Forte… I had more in mind until I started writing, but I don’t remember any of them getting the chance to play against England. It’s a massive game for Jodi; one he should be very excited about and I don’t think he will go into the game all star-struck. I think he will want to prove a point; I hope he manages to impress.

Notts County Fan Tony Poppa Bear Wood Shares His Story
This is brilliant; it was interesting to learn about Tony’s backstory and his favourite moments. I wasn’t here for the Warnock era, but I know he’s a legend! Sign him up, Chris..
