Jodi Jones gets my seal of approval. I think he has been great so far and among some very worthy candidates. I think Jones deserves my support, even though it seems that Dan Crowley is winning.

Rest in peace, Sven. I know it was expected, and I don't mean to talk out of turn. But it's still very sad news.

I don't believe Twitter accounts as much as I believe the press. I only believe Notts when things are confirmed. I don't believe Cedwyn Scott would leave or be currently wanted.

Curtis Edwards' shift to a more advanced position truly highlighted his versatility and adaptability. An outstanding game by Notts! The team’s ability to maintain pressure and play attacking football was a joy to watch. Grimsby had no answers for our coordinated play and strategy. The defence was also impressive, limiting Grimsby’s chances and standing strong throughout the match. The substitutions were well-timed, ensuring that the team kept its dominance on the pitch. I’m delighted with this performance and hope it sets the tone for the rest of the season. The fans deserved this win, and it’s fantastic to see such a united team effort.

He does have a similar appearance and physical build to Jack Grealish. He has already claimed that he will be better than him, which, considering Jack’s situation at Man City, might be an easier task. Jota Silva does look a lot like Grealish, though.

It’s clear how much Joe values Tranmere Rovers, especially with his long-term support since childhood. His admiration for Adkins and the new players brings a lot of positive vibes. Omari Patrick’s potential to shine and Lee O’Connor’s firm midfield presence could really elevate the team’s performance. The emphasis on improving defensively is critical and shows a balanced view of the team’s prospects. Considering the positive pre-season and the strategic signings, optimism for a top-ten finish appears well-founded.

Low camera angles of goals can either be visually appealing or quite dreadful. The footage doesn’t portray York City in the best light; it’s captured rather awkwardly. I’d prefer to see the goal from a landscape perspective, from a reasonable height but close enough to discern who’s doing what. Regarding the result, we ended up with a draw. So what? I believe York deserves recognition and their players will be striving to catch their manager’s attention. I’m confident that our players will adapt and learn from this experience. If the club has any quality footage, it’s something they can review during upcoming training sessions. I’m not convinced our goalkeeper could have done much about the first goal they scored.

I’ve never known anything like this to happen before, but it seems like a possibility. Clearly, no one checked before making the announcement. I wonder how long it took to spot the error. It’s quite amusing!

I believe this is the perfect chance for Notts to bring in someone who can genuinely add value to our squad. Randall's departure has certainly whetted my appetite for news about incoming transfers. Fingers crossed for some exciting additions, here’s to hoping the club has some surprises up their sleeve.

I had a lovely weekend. Nothing much happened, but it was relaxing. This week seems like it’s going to be a bit tough, with all the panic and negativity surrounding Macaulay Langstaff’s move. I’m looking forward to the pre-season.

Well, he’s moved on now, and we need to adjust the team to cope with the loss. The club will have to decide whether he needs to be replaced, and if so, the money will have to be well spent. Fans won’t be pleased to see any money wasted, but hopefully, the fee for Macaulay Langstaff will be reinvested into the squad this season, and we’ll make signings that boost morale.

It’s unfortunate to see him leave, but on the bright side, it opens up a spot for someone new. If we rally behind the current players, who knows what could happen? Even the top clubs lose their key players sometimes. While we might have secured a better deal if we had waited, we can’t deny a loyal servant the opportunity to play in the championship before his career peaks.

Tony Hateley will always be remembered as a remarkable player for Notts. This club was like home to him, and he always fit right in when he wore our shirt. He’s an icon from the days when we had a formidable strike force.

Millwall must be over the moon with this signing. Langstaff’s record at Notts County was stellar. You don’t come across a striker who scores 42 goals in a season very often. Although it’s a big loss for us, it’s a well-deserved step up for Langstaff. His dedication and fantastic relationship with everyone at the club speak volumes about his character. Championship football will be a new challenge for him, but I’m confident he will rise to it.

It’s great to see the hard work bearing fruit. The club has done a good job of promoting the season tickets and pushing them at every opportunity. It’s rewarding to see the numbers increasing. Fans don’t just start buying tickets out of the blue; it’s their loyalty and the prospect of a promising season that drives them.

We’re currently a few players down, and I’d like to see an additional 3-4 players join. With Connell Rawlinson’s recent move to Chester, it seems likely that we’ll bring in a new centre-back. It’s also encouraging to see Aiden Stone battling for his position. It’s commendable that players don’t give up just because they’re not the current favourites. While I can’t see him surpassing Alex Bass, he does provide competition for Sam Slocombe and Tiernan Brooks. Rumours suggest he might be set for another loan move, which, if true, means he might have to wait another season before we consider him for the first team goalkeeper position. I’d also like to see another winger, a midfielder, and potentially a more attack-minded player in midfield.

Slovakia needs to mature as well. Just because they lost doesn’t mean they should make a fuss about every minor incident. What about their manager pushing Declan Rice? That’s violent behaviour, which isn’t supposed to happen, yet it will likely go unpunished. I hate to say it, but England does seem to face stricter decisions against them.

The critic doesn’t offer any real alternatives, only suggesting that Harry Kane shouldn’t play the full match. That seems odd to me. Kane should only be substituted if he’s not playing well, he’s hurt, or if the game plan requires it. Also, the remark about Serbia looking unlikely to score was quite amusing.

The signing of Alex Bass is both good and exciting. He seems like a strong choice for our level, and the club has done well to secure him. I’m hopeful this will lead to more season tickets sold, as it’s clear our owners are committed to strengthening the squad. With the goalkeeper position now sorted, it’s a positive step towards helping the team grow.

Even though I’m a season ticket holder, I won’t be attending. I’d rather stay at home or watch it somewhere else. Is there any news on whether Sky will be broadcasting the game? It would be a missed opportunity if they didn’t.

Good luck to all the injured players. Is Tobi injured now? I haven’t seen him around the squad lately unless I’m mistaken. I think we would always struggle without Scott and Palmer, who are two very strong players.

I didn’t manage to hear Luke Williams’ reaction to the game, but I’m hoping he was as pleased as we all were. Sometimes supporters can demand too much but after the bad form, no one can expect us to have outperformed Stockport and still lose, despite a late goal that came after their second. It was a very upbeat display, Jodi Jones was excellent once again.
