  1. Will Randall appears to be a promising acquisition. Even at 26, he still has room for improvement. If he has pace and can take on players, then he’ll be a valuable addition to the team.
  2. Hello, welcome to PON @Lydia. Don't be afraid to join in.
  3. Welcome back to the Pride of Nottingham, @Nocturnal-Magpie.
  4. Congratulations to Carlisle on their success. I feel sorry for Stockport County, who must have been dreaming of back-to-back promotions. However, credit must go to Carlisle, who have returned to playing good attacking football.
  5. Ollie has been treated unfairly and I agree with those who have decided not to buy the Nottingham Evening Post (NEP) anymore. I used to check if Notts was featured before deciding to buy it, but now I’d rather not support a company that treats people like they did with Ollie and disrespects us by reducing our coverage while focusing on every little detail from Forest’s perspective.
  6. I’m glad that Sam Slocombe signed a two-year deal. It’s clear that Luke Williams rates him highly. If the club can sign another strong keeper, it might help us push for promotion from League Two. Otherwise, it might be time to give Tiernan Brooks a chance.
  7. The letter shared by the Accrington Stanley supporter is brilliant. More and more fans are realizing that supporting a club is about more than just winning the Premier League.
  8. I liked Shaun Brisley. He did all the basics well and played a solid defensive game until the season we were relegated from League Two. I wish him all the best with his move to Alfreton Town.
  9. Hello, @two for joy. Welcome to the site and PON, I hope you like it.

  12. Hello, @LesBradd4England. Welcome to the site and PON, I hope you like it.
  13. This is the best news I’ve heard in a long time. Jodi Jones is a legend and he deserves to wear the black and white stripes. He was our best player last season and he’s only going to get better. He’s got pace, skill, vision and a killer instinct. He’s the perfect fit for our team and our style of play. Welcome back Jodi!
  14. Words cannot express how saddened I am by the passing of Who r ya!! You Pies!!. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and pass my thoughts on.
  15. After they wished us well after relegation to the National League and on our promotion back to the Football League, respect is paid back. Well done to Notts Forest for securing their place in the Premier League for another season. It’s always a tough battle to avoid relegation, and they’ve shown great resilience.
  16. That’s a great idea and I think it would make an excellent article. If you write it before reaching the milestone, it could go viral among Notts fans. 5,000 is a significant number of games. Would you like me to add the link to the EFL website? I’m curious to see which other teams have played more or fewer games than us.
  17. Welcome back, lads. I hope you both continue to be part of the community. It’s always good to hear what fans have to say, as long as it’s written without malice or excessive negativity, regardless of age.
  18. It was a good summary of the entire National League experience, with Les Bradd avoiding discussing the Trew and Hardy era. Those two held the club back for many years and were responsible for the issues that led to relegation from the Football League. I wasn’t familiar with Luke Williams, but that’s just me. I wasn’t negative about his appointment and thought that the Reedtz were wise enough to bring in the right person for the job. Looking at the squad, I could see that there was enough in place to make it easier for someone with limited experience.
  19. Back-to-back promotions would be an incredible achievement for Notts, but it won’t be easy. The competition is fierce, and it will take everything they’ve got to secure a top spot. But with their skill and dedication, Notts has what it takes to achieve back-to-back promotions and continue their success.
  20. Good guess, London lad that has played for Torquay and Bournemouth. That covers some distance and he fits quite well but it could be anyone born in London that has played for Notts.
  21. Yes, this is a good video. It shows the full journey from Meadow Lane to Wembley and back. It provides a nice insight into how the club operates on a match day. I like how Notts celebrated without overdoing it.
  22. I had work, so nothing exciting there. Once I got home, I just wanted to relax. Tomorrow, I’ll be going out with my other half. To be fair, there’s not much excitement about that either. We’ll probably have a pub lunch, catch up with a few friends and then relax before the working week starts again.
  23. No complaints. I think Jim O’Brien still has a role to play. Retaining Connell Rawlinson is understandable. The other players are vital first team members. No surprises there and it’s good that the club has offered Jodi Jones a deal.
  24. Welcome to the site. PON is an excellent community. You should enjoy it @CountyFan2105.
  25. Let’s hope that Jodi Jones signs on the dotted line and makes his tenure at Notts a lasting one.
