Good luck to Jodi Jones. Will someone please update this discussion with how he does if they manage to look out for the results of his international games? It would be nice to see how he gets on. I will most likely forget.

I am just pleased that we have got a defender. It would be easy to settle for what we have, but at least we now have some form of cover. I understand how some fans feel, but I am trying to see the positives. He should want to do well, especially considering how the team is performing. There’s nothing like winning games and leading the league.

Notts can be slow, but it’s not always the case. I don’t think this is very fair in terms of reflection on how Notts plays. Williams must be doing something right as we are top of the league, and as @Fan of Big Tone said, it got us promoted last season.

The Blackpool owner, although he’s questionable, has put money into the club. I can’t speak for the state of the squad, but they overdid things in my opinion when they got to the Premier League. The ground improvements help the club for the long term; their pitch used to be awful to see Notts play on.

I could watch the highlights over and over again, even with their goal! All the goals scored were just beautiful to see live.

Ruben Rodrigues took time for us; he’s not an 8-star every game type of player. He will get his 5s, 6s, and sometimes much lower. Yet he will get those impressive numbers given the chance. Oxford United won’t know what quality he has until he’s properly settled into the area; it’s no Nottingham, but if their fans get behind him, he’ll respond with good performances.

Are we top of the league? Stop the press. Put your phones on DND and get those Notts flags up. It’s a good achievement, perhaps not the time to get carried away, but it’s a very positive sign. There are plenty of tough games ahead, but we are difficult to beat at Meadow Lane. I really fancy us to go unbeaten at home! I know that’s brave of me to say, but I believe it. I think the players have more than enough to draw if we struggle. The roar of the crowd makes it hard for teams to play against us.

What a performance by our boys! It was quite a battle on the field. Accrington Stanley weren't easy to crack, but our lads stayed their ground and penetrated their defence effectively. The team's resilience truly testified to Williams’ exceptional training and strategic planning. To be top of the league now, it’s down to the relentless dedication of each and every player and the coaching staff. Well-earned victory!

Does anyone remember Leam Richardson? He had spells with us and Accrington Stanley.

Great start by Notts. Matt Palmer keeps the ball moving forward. Great goal by David McGoldrick. It was superbly placed into the back of the net.

I am satisfied with the coverage. I don’t get to listen to BBC Radio Nottingham much, but when I have, it has been enjoyable. I do agree; we are fortunate as some commentators’ voices go straight through me.

All the best to Southend. It does appear that their lights may end up being switched off, but the club should reform and come back stronger. It’s a terrible thought, but that reset can be the thing that propels clubs into becoming stronger. Their owner does seem like someone who should never have been approved to own a football club.

I have no plans except for watching Notts vs Tranmere. It should be a good game. I noticed that storms are forecasted, with the potential to continue over the weekend. I hope all Notts fans who read my comment enjoy their weekend. If you are down at Meadow Lane tomorrow, make sure you bring your singing voice.

It’s looking bleak for English football with all the issues clubs are facing. Hopefully, one day it will be managed better, but I wish Morecambe all the best. It’s never pleasant to see a club struggle financially, but at least it’s not holding them back on the pitch.

Another exciting matchup is on the horizon! Our recent form has been inspiring, and if we are to make a serious statement of intent in League Two, it’s essential to bag this victory at home. Staying grounded is important though, we cannot underestimate Tranmere Rovers.

I have no suggestions regarding the line-up, as I trust Luke Williams to make the right call. I am interested in seeing the squad, but I am less inclined to worry if something doesn’t seem right, simply because I have so much faith in Luke’s decisions when it comes to squad selection. He seems to make the most of the squad’s depth, so we may see some changes.

Jodi won’t be concerned or lose sleep over the decision being made by the EFL. We can just be happy for him!

It’s been very good since we were promoted. The start of this season may have been disappointing, but our supporters are trying to keep the magic alive. Attending games at Meadow Lane is much more enjoyable because of it.
