  1. Encouraging news, many fans who attended seemed happier. However, it’s crucial that we invest money to benefit from the larger crowds Notts are attracting. The club has always had the potential to draw good crowds, it just needed owners who would let the staff do what’s necessary.
  2. It takes a strong leader to openly accept the shortcomings. What we saw in the first half was commendable. Williams' vision splendidly executed. But the stark difference in the performance in the second half was jarring. On a positive note, it gives a clear area of focus, to maintain that momentum and not to let it fade. Looking forward to the next Notts match.
  3. Playing at Wembley, a childhood dream for countless footballers worldwide, Jones has achieved this remarkable feat not once but twice. His fond recollections about waiting to get Saka's shirt through Madison show the humble human behind the successful footballer. The mention of his great nan, an ardent supporter despite difficulties in travelling, adds another layer of poignancy to this incredible journey. Each time Jones steps onto the pitch, he personifies resilience and relatability. Indeed, Living the dream.
  4. Wow, 5,000 is such a huge number! It's great to see that we're reaching this milestone considering the current state of the club. However, when Saturday comes, I really hope that Notts stays completely focused on the game itself. We can still celebrate regardless of the outcome, but by removing any doubt and staying focused, it shows a strong commitment. And of course, a positive result would make the achievement even more special, but winning isn't everything. Whenever I think about how Notts County almost didn't exist, it fills me with gratitude for what we have now.
  5. I agree, we need to consider where we've come from and where we currently stand. We managed to score and put up a good fight, despite the problems we faced defensively, which were difficult to watch at times. John Bostock is an extremely important player in our team, who remains composed and isn't easily dispossessed. We definitely missed his presence, and although I believe he should have been in the starting lineup, on any other day, the outcome would have been different. Colchester United played exceptionally well, and they deserve credit for that.
  6. Well, it was difficult to watch at times. Defensively, we made a real mess of it, and any other day we would have won. John Bostock is such a crucial part of what drives us forward, and his absence was felt at the back. On the positive side, we are currently in first place, and we usually bounce back strongly after these kinds of setbacks.
  7. Reading about Austin's perspective on Notts' success was enlightening. His emphasis on understanding the level of competition and focusing on their own game shows a mature approach to football. It's clear that he values hard work and dedication, both on and off the pitch.
  8. Jodi Jones’ journey in football is a shining example of determination and adaptability. His transition from international to club football shows his knack for adjusting and excelling in varying conditions and styles of play, which is no small feat. Jones’ observations on the physical aspects of international football, particularly the different playing positions, provide an intriguing look into the tactical intricacies of the game. His unwavering dedication and commitment to football are truly inspiring and suggest a promising future for both him and Notts.
  9. Great job! Notts performed exceptionally, and I must admit that Salford's performance was lackluster, though they had their moments of brilliance. In my opinion, any team that refuses to surrender even when trailing by two goals with only ten minutes left deserves commendation. Dan Crowley's performance was outstanding.
  10. Notts showed great resilience to come from behind and secure a good point away from home, Kyle Cameron leading by example with his second-half strike to get us the draw. I can't be disappointed with the outcome, we tried and it wasn't to be.
  11. I completely agree with Luke's emphasis on the importance of home victories and fan support. Meadow Lane is certainly an inspirational ground and one can really feel the atmosphere when the team is performing well. It's great to see Williams recognising that the fans have a role to play. We all do our bit to cheer on the team, after all.
  12. I hope we can avoid any upset if the worst happens. I don’t want to write Notts County off, but a team like MK Dons will always be the favourite at home, and it will take some time for Notts County to overcome this. We are a great side that is improving, but I do worry that they will just be the better team on the day. I would take a draw without any complaints.
  13. It's excellent to see our coach, Williams focused on performances and improvements, rather than getting swayed by our current standing. This display of level-headedness and strategy from him will undoubtedly help the team stay grounded and driven.
  14. Sounds like it's going to be an cracking match! Notts has to stay on their toes to face this challenge head-on.
  15. Macaulay Langstaff scored two brilliant goals, showing his immense contribution to the team. Williams recognised and honoured this exceptional talent. The team succeeded despite coping with injuries, thanks to Williams’ faith in his squad and his coaching abilities. Let’s continue supporting our warriors and anticipate more victories.
  16. What a performance by our boys! It was quite a battle on the field. Accrington Stanley weren't easy to crack, but our lads stayed their ground and penetrated their defence effectively. The team's resilience truly testified to Williams’ exceptional training and strategic planning. To be top of the league now, it’s down to the relentless dedication of each and every player and the coaching staff. Well-earned victory!
  17. Dream big, Notts! Let's believe in our own fairytale. Luton's success could well be a blueprint for us.
  18. Great start by Notts. Matt Palmer keeps the ball moving forward. Great goal by David McGoldrick. It was superbly placed into the back of the net.
  19. Call it what you like, adaptability, resilience, or versatility. Richard Brindley embodies it all. Brilliant to have such confidence coursing through our squad.
  20. Another exciting matchup is on the horizon! Our recent form has been inspiring, and if we are to make a serious statement of intent in League Two, it’s essential to bag this victory at home. Staying grounded is important though, we cannot underestimate Tranmere Rovers.
  21. I have no suggestions regarding the line-up, as I trust Luke Williams to make the right call. I am interested in seeing the squad, but I am less inclined to worry if something doesn’t seem right, simply because I have so much faith in Luke’s decisions when it comes to squad selection. He seems to make the most of the squad’s depth, so we may see some changes.
  22. Good luck to young Alfie Bradshaw moving from Bradford City to Nottingham Forest. A big step. Hoping he impresses in the Forest Academy.
  23. Doncaster fell short in the face of a superior Notts side led by Langstaff and Jones. Despite a late goal from Doncaster, County's verve and spirit remained unscathed. This is a win that the team and fans alike can be immensely proud of.
  24. Notts must commence securing victories in matches of this nature if we are to advance further in this season. My expectations are somewhat flexible, yet simultaneously, I possess an ambitious outlook and believe that we are unquestionably on par with the majority of the superior teams in League Two. I am confident that Doncaster Rovers will endeavour to create challenges, but overcoming these obstacles falls upon us and Luke Williams.
  25. When thinking about the upcoming match I feel Williams should keep an eye on consolidating our offense. Notts' performance has shown growth lately, but we also need to ensure scoring opportunities are being capitalised. Equally important is ensuring our defence isn't compromised. McGoldrick has shown great form recently, and teaming him up with Langstaff could be promising. Doncaster may be struggling recently, but underestimating them would be folly. Tricky game ahead, but one filled with opportunity.
