Notts may be in the fourth tier but this FFP rule has consequences for ambitious clubs like ourselves. The FFP benefits the six biggest clubs and in effect stops them from being challenged by the rest of the clubs in the football pyramid. I think it is absolutely an unfair system and should be abolished in favour of a simple capping system set for each league to ensure there is fair competition. The rich clubs won't like it because all their riches won't matter if they are capped to the same amount as the other PL clubs. There just has to be a fairer system to benefit all clubs. Even the parachute payments to relegated PL teams is unfair to Championship Clubs. Just look at the Championship table. It stares you in the face.

For those who would like to know more about the Nottingham Panthers and their history I will post an article about them that can be found on Wiki. The Nottingham Panthers were formed at the end of WW2 in 1946 Their first franchise was between 1946 & 1960, they then went out of business for 20 years, however a new franchise began in 1980 to the present day. The Panthers have been one of the best if not the best, supported Ice Hockey clubs in history. The Panthers are also one of the most successful clubs with plenty of silverware, they have won 4 league titles, & are the only British team to win the European, Continental Cup. The Club was founded in 1877 and the Clubs heyday was in the late 1980s when they boasted several international players in their ranks, most notably Gary Rees, Dusty Hate, Rob Andrew & Brian Moore, who as well as playing for England, became a British lion. Nottingham used to get televised regularly on "Rugby Special at that time, being a top club. The advent of professionalism affected Nottingham for a few years, but they have bounced back since then & have become a solid 2nd tier club. Nottingham RFC recently had their ground flooded and damaged during the recent adverse weather. The club have had to postpone their home matches at 'the bay' due to the flooding.

It's only to be expected that the team has been hugely effected by the tragic circumstances regarding the death of Adam Johnson & colleague during a match. They've actually been very unlucky to lose a few matches by the odd goal & also they've had to play so many matches to play catch up
