  1. horrible to see they need such a huge amount of money in order to survive, that sort of cash is difficult to come back and it looks very disappointing. i hope southend can overcome it but its looking unlikely.
  2. its all just disappointing isnt it? i think its poor behaviour on the england fans but our media is just terrible for spinning negative stories. its a joke which is not funny.
  3. hello, welcome to pon @BiggestPieInGlasgow.
  4. i have been here since 2012, i was not much into football as a youngster but i felt at home at notts. those free tickets that notts would give schools paid off, joining pon was the best decision i have made. i have seen members come and go, but the community is great. @super_ram, @Piethagoram, @Fan of Big Tone are three of my favourite members. also credit to @Chris who does so much, he makes pon shine. like @Joshua, i have grown and i find people accept me which i have found difficult over the years with being autistic.
  5. we will have to see how it unfolds, i think this will lead to further interest and at what point does an offer become too good to refuse?
  6. i think yes, we can but its going to take effort, maybe a bit of luck to make our way. i see scotland fans are predicting we will land austria which is a game i would rather avoid because they look good. however, whoever we get we need to be prepared and confident. i hope we can make the final, it would be nice to win a major international competition but i dont think harry kane on his own up top will be the answer.
  7. hopefully we will learn news of the transfer listed players, but there is no guarantee that teams who are interested taking any of them on loan would be content with paying their wages in full. we might see us needing to pay some, unless we can sell them for nothing. i dont see any teams wanting to spend money when they might feel we are desperate to get rid.
  8. i got sick of seeing them last season. ???? who else would we draw? notts has to make the most of it and get the win. it is all about redemption as @menzinho says.
  9. lol! you have to give wrexham credit for making things funny. thats a right laugh!
  10. who has been telling the players to smile before taking their pictures? ???? its great to see them all smiling and looking keen to get back to business. i am sure they will be working hard ahead of pre seson, its going to be fun.
  11. i think it would be a fun game to attend, i am not sure about flying but how else will i be able to get there? its not like i have no been in a plane before. im 50/50 so far.
  12. do you plan to go @Piethagoram? its a nice friendly, i think it makes a change for once to play a german team.
  13. im not really interested in this competition, but i hope we field some of the players who need game time in the matches. it would be a good way to see who deserves a shot in league games.
  14. i hope gareth southgate does not see this, his assistant does not seem to do much. ????
  15. clubs need to recruit within their means but try to sign the best players they can afford, i think andy holt needs to try to replicate the squad that did take them up and avoid complaining about the funds teams use. he wont stop clubs from having higher funds or using more.
  16. he does sound like a good fit for what we need, he will be around good players and i am sure that will see curtis edwards at his best. i have seen no end of positive comments for his ability on twitter from woking fans and people who have seen him play. i am glad hes here.
  17. will evans join us? could it be that hes being lined up as macaulay langstaffs replacement. the thing i did at the start was on purpose. i think there is more to this all.
  18. @Piethagoram you have me worried that macca might be leaving. with will evans being reportedly seen at notts and a potenial bid of £2m for macaulay langstaff, it could open up a bidding war. i do think if other areas of the press like local papers to club start writing about him, then there might just be something in it.
  19. i think the new os site looks a lot more promising, i do think it needs to be less full screen with the content but its a lot better looking than most football sites. this includes some premier league teams.
  20. well said chris, its easier to not get behind him than it is it seems. he will have my full support whilst he is at notts. nothing else.
  21. so, pleased that hes near a return and that his recovery has gone well. also congratulations to him and his partner on getting engaged, doing that in new york city will have been a special memory. i cant wait to see him back on the pitch but only when hes 100%. hes one of the most consistent players we have had for years!
  22. i think the club has pulled off a great signing with the arrival of curtis edwards. he seems to tick all the boxes and he will offer us a lot with his experience of playing overseas. that must give him something about him.
  23. @Piethagoram thanks for sharing that.
  24. i hope every thing is okay with phil foden, he will be missed but life comes before football. i do wish its nothing serious.
