According to him it was an inside Joke aimed at some friends who were in the Crowd. However this isn't the First time he's made the Gesture and if found Guilty he could end up being Fined and Banned. I ponder whether footballers who earn millions regard themselves as fortunate. Regrettably, Tommy Lawton was born too early to receive the earnings he merited. Despite this, he was an exceptional player. In his twilight years, he should have been treated like royalty. If he were still with us today, things might have been vastly different.
