This one seems to have something about him, I felt the previous one was very fair. Hope this one does not let us down! It is a shame that Andy is not in charge though. Thanks Joe!
  2. You would not want to mess with Brian, very friendly actually but a good thug on the field. Not these Bristol City or kind, I think he would match up to some of the hardest men in football. They did not call him 'killer' for no reason.
  3. It was a very good win! Edge of the seat action but for all the right reasons, good report here!

Thanks for providing the information on the match officials Joe, I can now claim to know all this when they come up! Great job here!

You was right in your last article, you never know with football and your hint with the run was spot on lad. I would happily take 7 points, I think we will win two but the rest will be tough. No easy fixture as Super says, yet shewsbury are poor and lacking form.
  6. Good read as always, cheers Joe.
  7. Very good Joe! I also like reading these when they come about. I am sure they take a great deal of effort and chasing, as finding suitable fans must not be the easiest task. With all you do I am surprised you have time lad but keep up the good work! Cheers Patrick, I will be at the game tomorrow. Please do not spoil my weekend
  8. Summarizes the game up well Joe, excellent match report here! I was skeptical that we could get something out of the game but very impressed. Lucky in some senses, as Fotheringham buried a second rebound effort.
  9. Seems to sum the game up well to be fair, I have read the Official report and it makes us seem far more superior than this one. The NEP published an horrible report, not very detailed at all but I find Joe Jones reports to be very enjoyable. After the previous few especially! Thanks
  10. Nice historic article here, I agree with Super its a lovely read. I very much enjoyed it!

Two games in and we should have 4 points already! Bradford was a big win for us, this leaves 3 games and I am more confident that we can come a way with more points now!
  12. I did not make the game which sounds like I missed nothing, disappointing because one defeat should not undo any progress. I can understand frustrated fans! Thanks for the report, very useful for me to see a clear picture.

Its looking grim lad, I think 4 would be a good achievement. I personally do not see 2 wins, if this happens I'd be presently surprised.
  14. A few good years lad, a few more of this type but at least Shaun as the team revived and desperate to play for pride. I agree with the majority of what you expressed, it's hard and emotionally we fans suffer. Time to get the wheelbarrow fixed and rolling. Thanks Joe.
  15. It was a good encounter, Brentford played quite well when we let them. Second half we allowed them to come into the game but I am content with the performance. It gives me hope we can save ourselves! Thanks for the quick write up.

Excellent article Joe! Thank you for getting the fans views, it really does add value to the information shared and it must be difficult to track down unproven youngsters.
  17. I thought we would take all the points, after their disallowed goal. It is a solid point and well earned, now we need to get more! Thanks for this excellent report. I am playing catchup¬!
  18. These games are the type you just go into and do what you can. We usually do fairly well, so it is only speculation as to how we will do. Notts have been very below the bar, we know that the club can do better. Liverpool will be a very hard test, I will be there and no matter what I will have faith until the very end. Well written preview lads, Thanks.
  19. Yes, very interesting views lads. Thanks
  20. Brilliant match report Joe Jones! The game was end to end, Walsall looking quite comfortable on the break. Credit goes to Chris for making the changes, Danny decision turned noises and it turns out he had a slight niggle. Towards the end we played with share grit, we wanted the 3 points and was unlucky.

You can see you put a lot of time and effort into this, it is a very good read Weymouth. I think we'll see a better Notts County take the field, we have some passionate players and the fans will get them going. Thank you for taking the time to write this up, very good information.
  22. I have picked up a thing or two here Joe. Thank you for taking the time to share this, I feel the majority will learn something.
  23. Fozzy? I need to take some lessons in player nicknames. Not overly confident myself, I think a draw would the best outcome we could hope for and a win, well I would be dreaming. Enjoyed the read lad, you do a great job.
  24. Arron if you read this I hope you enjoy it, we have some very good pubs nearby! Very interesting read as always, Thanks Joe and Arron.

We have had some good times against Peterborough, I enjoy watching them. I will be making the trip back up to Nottingham and I will be armed with some of these facts, I will use them to impress my mates! After I tell them how I came to know so much. I really enjoyed this lad, great read!
