Match Discussion: Game 36 - Monkey Hangers (A)
I feel less confident when Notts travels to Hartlepool, they always seem to beat Notts or pull off an incredible come back.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
Notts have looked good at times, Osborne and Dennis have caused some trouble early on.

Match Discussion: Game 32 - Daggers (A)
A win would keep the pressure on other teams, a draw wouldn't be bad but it's the type of result that Neal Ardley needs to be trying to avoid during games. Notts needs to be more attacking minded, whilst being setup well at the back.

Notts County fans pay tribute to Mick Vinter
It's always saddening to learn about the passing of someone famous, especially if they had touched your life personally. Mick Vinter has touched the life of many football fans, not just Notts. He was a very good player.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
The team just wasn't at the races, NA made changes too late and the game was there for us to take but both teams settled for a point.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
I haven’t looked forward to a game so much for a long time, Notts are making waves and getting the results needed to push on. I am hoping for another win myself tomorrow.

Match Discussion: Game 24 - The Coasters (A)
Not much you can do as a fan if the game ends up being postponed no matter how annoying, Fylde could have done a bit more but Notts has to focus on Saturday now.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - Daggers (H)
1-0 Notts win I feel. I would have preferred Notts to get knocked out in the opening round, as they could have focused solely on the league but now it's important to maintain that winning mentality that is here.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Magpies (A)
It wasn't the prettiest of games, I think Notts fell short in the second half. Defensively Notts were fine, just guilty of creating good chances. There will always be games like this.

Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Magpies (H)
The players haven't put in a good performance at Meadow Lane for some time. If they put a solid one in, I am confident 3 points will be ours but I can see a small setback with Christmas. I hope for a win, a draw seems more likely but I fear a defeat in truth.

Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Shaymen (A)
The selection might be the most interesting part about the game, I am also not expecting a win but some signs of a good performance would be nice. I would take a point in games like this, some will say it's not good enough but neither is losing every other game. You can build from gaining points and that's why one will do me.

Notts County, Neal Ardley and squad rotation
I expect Neal Ardley to make use of the January transfer window in the Football League, this open all year round seems to have gone to his head a little. I am content with the players he's brought into the squad, but I do feel there are some areas now that need addressing. Centre of midfield, the wing and centre back mostly. Despite Pierce Bird returning from his loan, I don't see him featuring much. Ardley might feel he's too lightweight for this league, which I do get the feeling he sees Sam Osborne as being similar.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Spireites (A)
Good win, cracking run by Ozzy but a little overlooked by the injury to JOB.

'Poor for 80, decent for 10': ARLukomski on Northampton v Notts County
It's that Christmas period isn't it, Notts can never keep up momentum during this point. People focused on other matters, I have felt Richard Brindley has been consistently poor in recent games. Neal Ardley might not call him out, but he needs step things up.

How important is Michael Doyle now to Notts County?
His experience is the most important part, rather than his ability. At 38-years-old he's good, but for me he's chosen as the default captain merely due to the years that he has been around the game.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Coasters (H)
Well taken goals, in otherwise what could have been a goalless draw. Vital victory for Notts at this stage.

Matt Tootle sends message to Notts County fanbase on Twitter
It sounds like he understands it's about improving, if he does impress Neal Ardley should give him a chance but it seems hard to see how it will happen with the players available at the moment.

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Wood (A)
Good performance, a little slow at times but I felt Notts played very well. The goals scored was excellent too.
-
Match Discussion: Game 12 - The Ravens (A)
Ravens vs Magpies? It sounds like a rugby match. I think Notts are starting to settle, the fixture will be important to keep the lineup as close as Saturday's. Hopefully Nathan Tyson will be ready make the bench, as him and Kristian Dennis would give us better options.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
If Notts can give a steady performance, I think they should win but all this pins on Neal Ardley. I feel he's not making the most of the players at his disposal and I think it has shown in the last couple of games.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Moors (H)
I see another defeat myself, I am not sure how Notts will cope against a more phsyical side but provided they try and work hard that is enough for me.
-
Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Glovers (A)
I have this one as a 2-2 draw, I wouldn't underestimate Yeovil. They usually perform well against Notts.
-
Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Magpies (H)
Second half was all about confidence for Notts, they strided with every effort to score and change the outcome of the game. This doesn't mean Chorley played poorly, yet I think some are taking their mistakes a little easy as if I supported them I would be disappointed by how they failed to lift their own game after a superb first half performance.
-
Match Discussion: Game 5 - Red Dragons (H)
Wrexham bringing a good amount of support should lift the occasion, if Notts battles and tries to win every ball. I am confident that they can end the game on another victory, I think it will be narrow mind.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Spitfires (A)
I am looking forward to getting back on the road, Notts shouldn't have too many nerves. These new signings arrive just in time, they make Neal Ardley's squad selection stronger and I am positive the team will do well. 1-0 win is my prediction.
