  1. Pleased to see the club is keeping a core group of players who have been through the challenges together. That kind of unity is important.
  2. Hi there @CountyFan2105! Welcome to The Pride of Nottingham. We’re happy to have you here.
  3. Matt Palmer has truly been a standout player for Notts County. As a midfielder, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and ability on the pitch. His contributions to the team have been significant and he has played a key role in many of their successes. Palmer’s talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed and he is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the league. Notts County is fortunate to have such a talented player on their team.
  4. Once again, the club has created an outstanding video. The amount of effort put into Wembley is ten times greater and it's genuinely impressive!
  5. He appears to possess the skill and quality, and is young and eager. It remains to be seen if he will sign, but based on the videos shared by @liampie, I would be pleased with the signing.
  6. Happy Birthday @Chris! Wishing you all the best on your special day.
  7. The Reedtz brothers have demonstrated their forward-thinking approach by planning for life in League Two well in advance of securing promotion. Their foresight and strategic thinking give me full confidence in their ability to assemble a competitive squad capable of challenging at the top end of the division. Their proactive approach to planning for the future is a testament to their commitment to success. By anticipating the challenges of competing in League Two and taking steps to address them early on, the Reedtz brothers have shown that they are fully invested in building a team that can thrive at this level. I have no doubt that they will continue to make smart decisions that will position the squad for success.
  8. This video provides a good overview of how the season unfolded. I can appreciate that it must have taken a lot of research and time to create.
  9. The Nottingham Post has included a nice selection of fan photos. Are these @Dan’s? They’re great photos.
  10. Anything is possible. I believe the focus should be on becoming a strong League Two team and then progressing from there. Losing key players will be a challenge that Luke Williams will have to navigate along with the club’s recruitment policy. If the majority of this squad is maintained, there’s a good chance that Notts could be promoted to League One next season. I hope it won’t be through the playoffs though - I don’t think I could handle it.
  11. It’s unfortunate that Ross Fitzsimons seems prone to making errors. He always appears so remorseful afterwards.
  12. Ruben really needs to take it easy on the alcohol when he’s celebrating. I hope this is just a one-time thing because I’ve seen players turn to the bottle and become dependent on it. It’s not a good look for him or the club. He seemed completely out of it in some of the videos I’ve seen.
  13. It’s clear that Luke Williams has a lot of confidence in the team’s ability to hold their own in League Two next season. I can’t wait to see what they can achieve.
  14. It’s great to see you picking up right where you left off, @Fan of Big Tone. It’s like an 80s band reuniting for a comeback tour and ,we’re all ready to rock out to your thoughts on Notts subjects. In the meantime, keep on rockin’ and rollin’!
  15. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @Bee. I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy your time on the site.
  16. All of the homecoming scenes have been nothing short of spectacular. The scenes of fans celebrating with the players are a great advertisement for the club and may attract new supporters who see how different it can be at Notts County. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience for some fans, but it’s still special.
  17. I certainly hope that Luke Williams takes a look at what he has built here and then looks at Reading and realises that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Within a few seasons, Notts could be playing League One football.
  18. It’s been a while since we last saw each other on here @Fan of Big Tone. Whatever happened before is in the past. I’m just glad that you’re back. As an original member, you’ve been missed on the site. Welcome back!
  19. I had a fantastic time on my trip to London to see Notts play at the new Wembley Stadium. The stadium has been nicely rebuilt, but I must admit that I do miss the old one. There was something special about the history and character of the original Wembley that made it such an iconic venue. Nevertheless, it was still a great experience to see Notts play at the new stadium.
  20. The pictures taken by @Chris are excellent. It’s wonderful to see a different perspective of the fans at Wembley through his gallery.
  21. Ryan Reynolds has consistently shown his class towards Notts. He didn’t have to wish us well or congratulate us, especially after the response from some of our fan base. His actions speak volumes about his character.
  22. We should all be grateful for the outstanding performances of both Sam Slocombe and Archie Mair at Wembley. Bringing on Mair for the penalties was a stroke of genius, but we must also remember to thank Slocombe for his crucial role in keeping us in the game. Without his efforts, we may not have even made it to the penalty shootout. Both goalkeepers played a vital part in our success and deserve recognition for their contributions.
  23. You’ve captured the excitement and tension of the playoff final @Chris, against Chesterfield so vividly. Your writing truly brings the game to life from a fan’s perspective. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
  24. Yes, I noticed this once I got home and I tried to find a match report as I wanted to see what was mentioned about the game but only found a paragraph by Notts, which is what led me to search. It's a nice touch by Google!
  25. I’ll be at Wembley Stadium and my seat is located in block 120. Who else is going to be there?
