  1. I would start by thanking each of the brothers, then turn to asking them about their hopes if and when Notts could return to the Championship. I would like to know about the long-term vision of the academy; as things stand, it hasn’t been good enough despite all the effort that goes into it. Something more rewarding needs to come from the youngsters the club works with and I think it needs investment.
  2. I fully understand his decision to leave; I expected it at the end of the season and I think he deserves a chance to play at a higher level. I think his decision to choose Oxford is down to extending his game time; he’s no spring chicken.
  3. He’s committed three of his best years to Notts, arriving unknown in the UK and with very little expectation. He has worked hard, so I fully understand his reasons for wanting to leave. Playing for Oxford now, he might become a cult hero for them and manage to get a few more years out of his own career.
  4. Enda Stevens did okay for Notts, considering he was thrown into the team and how the club was performing; it was always going to be a battle for the lad. I thought he had been doing well for Sheffield United. Now that David McGoldrick is here, I don’t think we can rule out that Notts may express interest.
  5. Very smart and stylish suit; Macaulay Langstaff looks well polished. I hope he enjoyed the event.
  6. No, I can’t say I recall this name being linked with Notts before. I think he’s unlikely a real target; he seems to be one of those random players plucked out of thin air, but what do I know?
  7. This is dreadful; my heart goes out to everyone affected. Witnesses will have to cope with this for the rest of their lives; those who died may they rest in peace. I hope the person caught faces some stiff time, unprotected by prison guards.
  8. Ruben will be just fine at Oxford United. They have been a good League One team and he will have weighed things up.
  9. Carl Dickinson started off okay but ended up turning into a headless chicken - a headless chicken that also had its legs cut off. The number of silly fouls he gave away was ridiculous. Teams just exploited us through him. He may have found his level with Buy, good luck to both.
  10. Ruben Rodrigues will leave behind some very difficult stats to break. I can’t see him staying, but we have the memories and the recruitment team is able to push forward.
  11. I don’t use a signature and I don’t have any plans to add one. I have noticed that more members do have their own. This is nice to see, but personally, I see no need for my own.
  12. This is a tale and a half. The video doesn’t actually say why the club had to play the same league twice? I thought that part was odd. It’s good to see a small club rise. It reminds me of Wimbledon in the 90s.
  13. Dean Leacock did okay with his time here, we have had better and we have had worse. His career was always on the decline when he arrived at Notts. I don’t know why some fans think he would have done better, he did what he could. He was a decent defender but he had his limitations.
  14. I agree with everyone else, it’s just a case of idiocy. Is a ban worth it? Do silly people think it’s a badge of pride? They are only hurting the club and themselves by behaving like that. They should be ashamed of themselves and apologise.
  15. I’m happy with the signing, I do agree there’s a risk but it’s one I now feel is worth taking. He has more than experience to offer, dropping a division should see him get the two years Notts has offered him. He is a proven goalscorer and a fan favourite, he could be the difference maker for us.
  16. I had my children over, we caught up and they left about half 4 and 5pm. It was good to see them, as it has been awhile. I feel lost with all this Saturday's wondering what to do, my wife is already trying to get me out of the house and to find new hobbies.
  17. Welcome back David. I’m eager to see how you will perform against League 2 defenders. Well done to everyone who made this deal possible.
  18. I think Ed will start to figure out what works best for him and make strides towards improving his game. Moving to a new club can be helpful in this regard - the disappointment of being released can provide motivation to push forward to the next stage of your career.
  19. It’s an interesting decision for Ricardo to move to Croatia. I agree that it’s a beautiful country - in some ways, it’s even nicer than Italy. You really have to visit to appreciate it, but some of the scenery is truly magical.
  20. RIP Chloe Gibson. ????
  21. A true wrestler from the territory days of wrestling, where they wrestled in different promotions and moved around which helped them improve. A true legend of wrestling! Rest in Peace, Iron Sheik.
