  1. This is excellent news! The opportunity to improve facilities and hire necessary staff to further strengthen the academy's performance is invaluable. So looking forward to seeing the progress Notts County FC Academy will make in the coming seasons.
  2. Exciting times ahead! Williams approach and attitude towards the upcoming season and his appreciation for the fans spark optimism. It’s a testament to the strong unity within the club.
  3. It's interesting to see how much planning goes into a pre-season. I agree with Langstaff's emphasis on conditioning and injury prevention. While everyone loves watching the games and speculating about the new season, we often forget how much work goes into preparing the team before the first whistle is even blown.
  4. It's incredibly encouraging to see Langstaff talking so optimistically after the win. His performance was indeed a highlight of the game, and his satisfaction is well warranted. His statement about the team's training and tactics is the real takeaway here. It seems the team is well-coordinated and has a similar vision for their game plan. This pre-season triumph is a strong indication of how serious the players and the management are about doing well in the upcoming season.
  5. Intriguing analysis of Notts County's first five league games of the season. Starting with an away game against Sutton United, it certainly presents an excellent chance for Notts to kick off the campaign on a high note. Despite the loss of some key players, Sutton's end-of-season form suggests that they may struggle initially in this year's league. A decisive win for Notts could bolster the team's morale and set the stage for the subsequent challenging encounters.
  6. It's great to hear the positive comments about Aaron Nemane's speed and precision. He’s going to be a game changer this season!
  7. All involved need to walk away and stop writing; it’s an awful report and story. No effort at all.
  8. Well done, Stoke City; this is a classy gesture. They probably don’t need the money, but that takes nothing away from donating. There are many ways a club can do this, and this is one of the best things. I remember teams giving their money to Notts to help fund it when we were struggling in the 00s.
  9. I use Firefox and Chrome, just on different devices. I have Chrome installed on my computer, but I prefer Firefox’s layout and the ability to add extensions that are only found on their browser.
  10. Certainly a lot of ifs and buts around Dallas's potential move. A bit of a gamble, yes. But if it does work out in their favour, Gillingham might have a real gem in their hands.
  11. I have started to see a lot of content from PON in my Google news feed. I am wondering if it’s Google trying to promote people away from Twitter and back to them. Whatever the reason, it is good to see.
  12. Is anyone going? I wonder if we will see Junior Morias play; he and the new signings will be interesting to see. We all know these games are about fitness, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see us play a more defensively-minded team, as even this would be quite strong against Nuneaton.
  13. If there's one thing this return to the EFL demonstrates, it's the indomitable spirit of Notts as a formidable football club. Being able to overcome years of adversity and reclaim their spot is genuinely commendable. This achievement is undoubtedly a collective result of commitment, hard work, and fearlessness.
  14. Hello, @TheSkipper. I’ve just followed your blog and look forward to reading what you have to write
  15. Frank Vincent always gave his all and did well for us, even when played out of position. I think Dagenham & Redbridge will manage to get the best out of him. He’s a good player, so best wishes to him.
  16. I don’t think Tiernan Brooks will go on loan or leave for Cork City. I think he’ll be kept around Notts during pre-season and then loaned out.
  17. I don’t mind that the shirt has a little bit of red on it from one of the sponsors. If it was dominant or ugly, I might see the point of being vocal against it, but having seen the teaser, it’s nothing to get wound up about. If people continue to complain, they need to get in touch with someone to help them.
  18. It’s fantastic news, which I didn’t think would be positive from our point of view. I thought he was on his way out, so I’m glad that he will still be staying at Meadow Lane. He’s been excellent; Chesterfield struggled to cope with him in the playoffs, and countless times during the season, he put the scares on other clubs.
  19. Here’s a blast from the past: Mark Quayle. He played for Notts from 1998-2000. I’m not sure how many will remember him, though.

  22. Hello @BigTom91! Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, it's great to see you joining in with the community.
  23. I own a few good England shirts, but I haven't bought any since Umbro was replaced. I don't tend to like the designs. The price, as a one-off purchase, is affordable for me, but it's been a few years since I felt the England shirts looked worth the money.
  24. In terms of look and closeness to the real design, the shirts are mostly 6/10. I think the club's partnership with The Terrace stops efforts from being put into finding better options. It's probably an easy and financially beneficial deal. In the past, I know fans who have purchased replica kits from Notts County Shirts and Memorabilia on Facebook that look 100% better.
  25. There was talk ahead of the fixtures release, back when AH was in charge, that the shirt supplier would be looked into because Puma focuses on the number of shirts ordered and they're quite late in producing them. Obviously, we were relegated at the end of that season and it depends how much, if any, of this you would trust from a person known for bending the truth. Yet, Notts seems very lenient and understanding, more so than we can be. The 5-year deal is a poor decision; we can expect this to keep happening and the club honestly should do more to resolve the gap between the start of pre-season and kit release.
