  1. I always feel excited about home games, which is a strange feeling when you think back to previous eras. I believe the Notts players will make a game of it, and if they work hard, Meadow Lane can be a daunting place for the opposition.
  2. Things will get even worse if they don't improve. We'll start to feel the cost in other areas, like bus prices and other activities that the council provides. Thank goodness for the Notts Foundation.
  3. If we install the correct type and can maintain them, then it would be good, but I do think it's more useful if we were higher up the leagues. It probably means the club can offer cheaper advertising prices.
  4. Go where the white lines are and the hidden parties. It can't be hard to find someone who lives like that.
  5. It seems too harsh on the points. I am not sure it is the right way to punish them either. ????????‍♂️
  6. Doing that was very wrong. It did not show a good example. It was an odd thing to happen.
  7. Dying at a match is very sad for a fan. They did right by postponing it.
  8. Pep Maresca, Luke Guardiola, and Enzo Williams. ???? The cyborg managers are on the up.
  9. I know some people might see this as a dig at Luke Williams, but he really ought to consider giving David McGoldrick and a few other players a break every now and then. I understand it might not be easy, but perhaps giving some of the overlooked players a chance could make a real difference and help the team improve.
  10. If I could, I would. When I'm old enough, I want to help out the site as much as I can. I wish I could do more.
  11. I reckon our home performances have been truly special this season; not many teams have found us easy, and I believe that if we stick to Luke Williams' game plan, things will go just fine. I'm hoping we can have a full-strength midfield, and it would be nice to see Dan Gosling start if he's ready to play. I think Macaulay Langstaff and David McGoldrick will have attempts at goal. We just need to play with the exciting intensity we know Notts can bring to the game.
  12. We need to defeat them next time, otherwise they won't be a team some fans will want to see us play.
  13. I saw this on the news today, using flashing lights to alert that the lights had been turned on. ????
  14. Voted for the members I thought deserved it.
  15. It feels like yesterday's match really showed us where our flaws lie. It's unfortunate but necessary for growth. Much respect for Williams for calling it as it is.
  16. Defensively, we were dreadful. We made it incredibly easy for our opponents, but credit must be given to Colchester United as they played exceptionally well. It was frustrating to see that we looked superb in attack, and Colchester struggled to cope with us in that aspect. However, we fell apart and made poor decisions, which is the most frustrating aspect of the game.
  17. It's pleasing to observe that supporting Notts has provided him solace during a challenging period. Undoubtedly, the forthcoming season and the promotion achieved last year will hold significant importance for him. The article is highly commendable and makes for an enjoyable read.
  18. I am delighted with the acquisition of Dan Crowley; he is an outstanding footballer who is showing continuous improvement with each match. His consistency is truly remarkable, and it brings immense joy. Achieving promotion to the Championship alongside him is a heartfelt wish. Notts possesses an abundance of untapped potential, and it's crucial for us to put in the necessary effort to unlock it.
  19. While I bear no ill will towards them, I must admit that I hold a strong dislike for the club. The chairman's attitudes and positions on various matters epitomize everything that is problematic in football. Vince's attempts to impose his dietary preferences, personal beliefs, and pet projects are far from commendable. Excuse the use of puns, but I sincerely hope that we overpower and defeat them convincingly. A resounding victory would undoubtedly bring me a sense of joy. However, I acknowledge that it is likely to be a closely contested match with a narrow scoreline.
  20. Mason Bennett has encountered unfortunate challenges and difficulties, with the car accident being a particularly undesirable event. However, it is preferable to have learned from such an incident rather than allowing it to be repeated. Such occurrences have the potential to be life-altering, and, to be honest, I had believed he had retired. Thus, I am glad to see that he is still actively pursuing his career at Burton.
  21. Hello, welcome to PON @Laura Griffin. Pleased to be saying hello.
  22. welcome to pon @Ryan Raynor, well done with supporting the site.
  23. We possess a considerable amount of quality from which young players can derive valuable lessons, even in the absence of explicitly labelled "experienced" players. Individuals like Dan Crowley, Matt Palmer, and Kyle Cameron all have important roles to fulfill in assisting young players in integrating into the team. Engaging in matches with and against superior players consistently yields improvement, complemented by unwavering focus and determination.
  24. He still hasn't improved. He looked promising once for us, and then became clumsy. If he was going to achieve much, I would have thought now would be the time.
  25. I don't think any of them will be signing. I would like Conor Keeley to sign, but it's unlikely, I feel.
