  1. Been a part of the Notts family for years and the recent growth has been so amazing to witness. Looking forward to the new season with everyone!
  2. Great discussion here. Not certain Oldham can maintain title race form though, but Boreham is a wild card. Definitely a team to watch this season.
  3. It's encouraging to see the confidence in Notts securing one of the three automatic promotion spots. I share this optimism, yet also echo the sentiment that relying on playoffs could be a gamble, one that might not pay off. Therefore, a solid strategy from the get-go should be to aim for the top spots.
  4. The rich array of talent in our game should always be recognised and appreciated in equal measure. With regards to Doyle leaving for FGR, Coventry could have been a good move I suggest, this could have been a possible step too. However, his decision to go to Portsmouth should be interesting to observe.
  5. Isn't it great to see moments in the sport where teams come together for a cause? Stoke City has uplifted this spirit by their act of generosity. It illuminates the very essence of sportsmanship and camaraderie, proving that football is not just a battlefield, but a platform for solidarity too. In my eyes, this isn't only about charity; it's a signal about the sense of community engrained within the football culture, which is often overlooked. Stoke's act is a shining example of compassion and humanity, reminding us that sporting competition also has a heart.
  6. Palmer's ability to control the tempo of the game and dictate play is a key reason for Notts County's success.
  7. I'm quite encouraged by Luke Williams enthusiasm and positive tone. Pre-season is a crucial time for gelling the squad and creating a unified fighting spirit.
  8. I joined PON when I was 13. I remember introducing myself and being greeted by @ARLukomski, whose YouTube channel I watch. I’m not sure why I stopped posting. It might have been due to having other things going on in my life, but I have read every newsletter sent out. I decided to log back in and now that I’m older, I feel I have missed it. I bet nobody remembers me, but it’s good to be back. ????
  9. I want to enjoy being back watching League Two football. The fixtures are what they are. The players need to make the most of the earlier games because we can build a good amount of momentum moving forward. Those crucial times when fixtures start getting congested, at least we can rotate and make use of our squad size.
  10. I am always thankful for the happiness of friends and family that pays forward onto me. Life’s too short, so being kind goes a long way.
  11. It's been an amazing journey with the Reedtz brothers at the helm. They've transformed Notts County, and it's incredible to think about where we were compared to where we are now.
  12. Dan Crowley is a terrific signing for Notts and I'm sure he'll prove his worth throughout the season. Let's hope for a high-energy and fruitful partnership!
  13. I always enjoy hearing former players and managers reflect on their time at Notts County. It's good to hear from Shaun Derry again and it's nice to see he still remembers Grealish fondly.
  14. Jodi Jones all the way! I've watched him play for Coventry City and he definitely has the skills to be a game-changer for Notts County!
  15. Collecting shirts, like Ellis does from Away Days on YouTube, is interesting. However, I can’t say that I actively collect shirts. They’re just an accumulation that I’ve picked up over time.
  16. I used to get an England shirt annually. Some of them still fit me, but I wouldn’t say I collected them. Instead, I accumulated them over time because I received one every year. You have a growing collection. Some of the England replicas are quite nice!
  17. I was never bothered about it anyway. There were great scenes, but other than that, it just became too busy. I would rather celebrate at Meadow Lane.
  18. It may not be the most thrilling acquisition, but we mustn’t take the signing of players for granted. There must be something about him that the club sees. It could be related to the budget or perhaps he is good enough to serve as a backup goalkeeper. He wouldn’t have been signed otherwise.
  19. I think they should have lowered them quite a bit, I don't see many adults taking it up and my family are on about not renewing but paying on the day.
  20. Only a win will do, I think the pressure will be too much and a 2-2 draw seems to be what I would go for.
  21. I think Notts will lose and that it will become unbearable on social media. If a poor performance happens or the club loses, we need to stay determined that relegation can be fought off.
  22. I felt frustrated but I don't know why fans left around the 70th minute mark, it seems pointless even to attend.
  23. I just don't want to see Adam Collin gloat that they won because Notts has a lot of mongs on Twitter.
  24. Notts played really well, I think some of Donny's goals was soft but Kristian Dennis played like he had a point to prove. Enzio was class!
  25. I think we all know Notts are now capable of winning but it's all about how they perform together tomorrow and if Macclesfield allow us to play.
