Cameron to St Johnstone?
Cracking goal. Read a few muppets on social media losing their head, making out Kyle Cameron is a cracking defender after scoring against.... Brechin City of the Higlands league... with 1000 watching on.

Will Randall departs
- Time to change my username; Help needed

Alex Kirk .....RCB?
Would be a more typical radar signing. Strong youth background, proven himself in leagues below, similar to Nemane, Francis

Will Randall departs
Think I've done more running in a Notts shirt when I'm late for the bus than this pretender did during his 13 (?!) appearances

Cameron to St Johnstone?
I saw a quote from their manager describing KC as 'quick'. I like Cameron as a player, but quick? Don't think so.

Election reaction ????
I don't think this has changed a great deal for the outlook of the country. The same underlying issues will remain and worsen. These issues are affecting most Western nations and there is no answer for it beyond the current infinite loop. My fear is that there is an impending backlash as populations become more and more dissatisfied and disenfranchised with the way their countries are heading. We can start to see the shoots take root already; a lot of France voting far-right to get far-left, large percentage of Reform voters in UK to get limited representation in MPs. If there is no sensible strategy to divert from the current path, we will end up with the looney bins on the extremes (right and left), an ever more divided population base. Bleak outlook.

Macca gone
Seemed a bit inevitable in the end. Still early in pre-season though, and allows us to identify a replacement if there is to be one. Incredible two years from Macca in the black and white and will always be fondly remembered. You have to be a good player to get that goal return, no matter the chances created, you have to be in the correct position and apply the finish. Will be interesting to see how he gets along at Millwall, who are not exactly renowned for creating many opportunities. Seems a bit daft to make him captain and apparently p*ss of Cameron, for him to be leaving a couple of weeks later. Who's the new captain then? Matty Palmer - seems a bit on the quiet side.

Mahovo joins Norwich
Just been announced. Weird one. Look extremely raw in pre-season and cup games. Could've seen him maybe being a squad player this season, but 100% nowhere near a starting place. Off to Norwich for an undisclosed fee.

Macca to Millwall?
700k is too low.

Tiernan to Gateshead?
Very strange from Notts. We brought in Stone whereas we would've been better off having Tiernan in there, especially when or season had been over for weeks before the end.

Cameron to St Johnstone?
His use of the work 'undeniable' is very odd. Surely every soft skill is deniable. Anyway, Cameron has been a great player for us. His leadership in that playoff final, knowing how important it was to get the penalties in front of our fans. He's a good defender, but has been part of a defence that conceded so many. Don't think he was the main culprit for this, but not sure he counteracted it either. Change of captain was likely due to him not being a starter. It's fair, he wants to play football..all the best to him in sweaty sock land

Bellingham Could be Fined and Banned.
Wouldn't thank him for it but I wouldn't be complaining about it either. You'd hear worse from the stands.

New Kit!
Not a massive fan on the gray/ fading to black. Will wait to see what the away kit is like

Bellingham Could be Fined and Banned.
Behave. Lad is barely 21 years old and whilst not a fantastic gesture to make, it's hardly comparable with other things kids see and interact with on a daily basis.

Macca to Millwall?
Agree Millwall isn't a particularly attractive club. Having said that, Millwall are a club that bounce between the Champ and L1. Pretty much every Notts fan would take that as the status quo for Notts. From a Notts' perspective, you don't really care on the identity of the bidding club, only the figure. 1 million + would be enough, for me.

Goalkeeper recommendations 2024/25 season
Alex Paulsen is, according to media outlets, about to sign for Bournemouth from Wellington Phoenix, approx. 1 mil fee. Apparently Bournemouth will allow him to leave on a loan for a season. Would doubt that would be to a L2 club, but you never know.

Notts are interested in Chelsea goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe ???????
Our goalkeeping recruitment has been pretty dire recently. The only notable exception being Patterson, but that's 2 1/2 years ago. Stone: Not good enough. Luca-Ashby Hammond: Didn't stand out against Stone and Slocombe. Archie Mair: Penalty heroics aside, never broke into the team. Jaros: Never impressed. Luke Steele: He was dire. Luke Pilling: Never up to standard. That's a hit rate of 1 in 7. Given that Patterson came in as a short-term loan, even that had an air of fluke about how we found him...so you could say it was 0 in 6. With that track record on keepers - another risky bet might not be the best option.

Aden Baldwin leaving Notts
I like Baldwin. Great pace, good on the ball, an eye for a pass. Down-side being his mistakes; slippy mcslipperson, wayward passes into the middle of midfield, big risk taking with no reward. Still relatively young and those mistakes could have been ironed out. Assume he was offered a more squad role than guaranteed starter, with wages to reflect that. Fair enough all round if he wants to be playing every week.

Possible New Players For Notts
Harrison Male has left Dorking. Good shot stopper, 1v1. Bit small for a keeper so may not command his box and not seen his distribution. Won all the awards for Dorking in a relegated side.

Retained List
I'm not sure on Baldwin, even still. Ah well. His pace gets us out many a sticky situation, unfortunately he puts us in half those sticky situations to be begin with. Very sad some of those players that came up with us won't be here, from a sentimental standpoint. Not sure how Morias isn't transfer listed.
