Match Discussion: Game 10 - The Valiants (H)
@Joshua Jatta did some good work. He almost scored twice and can’t be faulted for the lack of creativity behind him. Fair play to Robbie Cundy for going up top, but he wasn’t any better than Jatta. I wouldn’t rate him because he wasn’t on long enough, but if I did, I think 4 would be about right, if not a bit harsh. Notts didn’t play terribly. There are words on social media like ‘**nk’ being thrown around, but those seem to come from fans with unhealthy expectations.

Faces of PON 24-25: Port Vale (H)
Great to see fans of all ages coming to Meadow Lane to support the club. The result yesterday wasn’t what we hoped for or wanted, but that’s football. The Faces of PON has captured the day in colour, and excellently might I add. It’s great to see the dedication that the Pride of Nottingham has towards the club.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Blues (A)
Two bottom-half teams, a draw wouldn’t quite do it. Not back to back and certainly not against another team that is struggling. I think Stuart Maynard needs to pull something out of his bag, as it would only lead to silly comments if we weren’t able to return with the maximum amount of points. A draw wouldn’t be bad but it would be somewhat of a setback and right now the team needs a good response which only a win would bring.

Notts County Sign Ex-Norwich Winger Josh Martin on Short-Term Deal
This is an exciting signing, especially given the injuries we've had recently. Josh Martin has shown he can compete at a high level, having made Premier League appearances for Norwich and played in League One for Portsmouth. His versatility is a major plus, as we’ve been a bit light in attacking options. The fact that he’s only 23 and has so much experience is impressive.

Match Discussion: Game 8 - The Shrimps (A)
Morecambe will see our defeat as a chance to further impact the blow of losing our unbeaten run. Notts will be looking to respond and show that they can bounce back, but the question is, will it cause nerves to set in? I think the game will be quite open. It’s down to us to be tight at the back and strong in preventing goals. If we do this, we should be able to score ourselves.

M K Dons appoint Crawley coach
It could be a good thing for Crawley Town. They might be able to appoint someone who can keep them in League One. With the loss of players they have had, it shouldn’t be too hard for a new manager to get to grips with the team. It’s much different for Scott Lindsey. He has a whole new group of players he needs to win over. With a team that is massively underperforming and the pressure on, I don’t think many expect Crawley to stay up.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Gills (H)
It was a good game. Gillingham countered well but looked quite limited in their attack. Defensively, I thought they were superb and blocked several chances that could have caused their keeper issues. Even he pulled off some good saves. Notts just needed a bit of luck, which didn’t come. We can complain we missed clear chances, but that is football. I think the offside was the wrong decision, but again, some days you have good officials and then you have what we had yesterday. I don’t think if we scored from open play, the referee or assistant would have found something to disallow it. They were just very poor, rather than corrupt.

Poll: Who is your Notts Man of the match v Gillingham?
Jacob Bedeau was great going forward and a rock in defence. I couldn’t fault his performance at all.

Jodi Jones Injury
I have looked back at the tackle, which was a fair challenge. The Gillingham player won the ball, but he did go through and clatter Jodi Jones, which you could say was reckless. I think it was knowingly done, but well-timed. I can’t complain about it. Jodi was holding his lower leg, and his socks were pulled around the area he was holding. It looks quite serious, but we can only speculate. I think he will miss several games if we are lucky. The worst scenario is that he will be ruled out longer than Curtis Edwards has been.

Match Report: Controversial Offside Decision Costs Notts County in Narrow Defeat
On another day, Notts would have won, and I think it shows good character from our players. It’s a shame that Jodi Jones had to go off; that could prove to be costly, but we will have to wait and see. I thought the officials were terrible. I hope we can return to winning ways soon and just focus on making this season the best that we can.

Curtis Edwards Injury
This isn’t good news for us, as Curtis Edwards has been in great form and key in our home games for getting results. We do have cover, which is a relief, but we also have other players out like Scott Robertson and the ones mentioned earlier.

Opposition View: Gillingham FC Fans on Their Promotion Push & Tough Test Against Notts County
Reading about Gillingham’s fans and their views gives us a good idea of what to expect. They have a strong belief in their squad's depth and tactics, particularly appreciating the role of Mark Bonner. From a Notts perspective, this upcoming match demands a high level of tactical awareness and energy. Our midfield will need to be dynamic in both breaking up play and creating opportunities going forward. The Gills have highlighted the potential of Bradley Dack and Conor Masterson, so marking them effectively will be crucial. I expect a fiercely contested game, but I believe we have the quality and team spirit to come out on top. Let’s support our lads and hope for a brilliant match!

Who's Your Notts County Man of the Match Against Bromley?
Jodi Jones, not because of the goal or contract renewal, but 100% based on his performance. If you haven’t watched the full game, go visit the club website.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
He’s out on loan until January. He could continue to score and end up being given another chance under Stuart Maynard, who doesn’t always stick to playing based on how long they’ve been at the club or if they are friends. He could be given a chance, as I think Junior Morias would have asked to go out on loan. Otherwise, why wasn’t he put on the transfer list along with Will Randall, Aidan Stone, and Connell Rawlinson? It also begs the question, why wasn’t a mutual release clause agreed if he wanted regular football? We won’t know, but I wouldn’t rule it out.

Stuart Maynard Reflects on Notts County's Depth Ahead of Gillingham Clash
The squad has impressed me because they have grown in confidence since the opening day and the 2-2 draw against Fleetwood Town. It’s like those games were matches our players believed we should have won. Therefore, they have the drive to make sure we improve on the performances, and we have. Notts are looking exciting, and while it’s early days, it’s promising! I hope we can maintain our undefeated start against Gillingham.

'Incredible Mentality’: Stuart Maynard Reflects on Notts County’s 4-2 Victory
It's great to see Notts handling the pressure so well, even when things start off poorly. Stuart Maynard’s tactical tweaks were spot on, and it shows how prepared and versatile the team is. Jodi Jones was fantastic with his brace, and Dan Crowley’s goal added the icing on the cake. Our defence also deserves praise for their resilience as Bromley pushed forward after we equalised. This kind of performance is what makes a team championship-calibre. Here's hoping we can maintain this unbeaten streak and continue to impress.

Jodi Jones Targets More Goals and Promotion in a Big Season for Notts County
Jodi has always been a standout player, and extending his contract is a massive boost for us. His drive to score more goals while keeping up the assists will be crucial in our push for promotion. The team looks stronger with the new players, and Jones’s dedication to consistently perform well throughout the season is encouraging. We’ve seen clubs lose steam, but having a player like Jodi Jones focused on the long game gives us confidence. It’s fantastic to hear he’s comfortable returning to the right wing, where he seems to thrive the most. Let’s hope this is the year we make our mark!

Jodi Jones Reflects on New Contract and Future Ambitions with Notts County
Absolutely over the moon to hear about Jodi Jones' contract extension. His impact on the team last season can't be overstated, he was a truly standout player. The fact that he's committed to the club until 2027 shows how much faith both he and the club have in our future together. I particularly appreciate his comments about focusing on adding more goals to his game. This kind of attitude is exactly what we need if we're aiming for promotion. The versatility he brings, being able to switch wings effectively, adds a lot to our playing style. Here's hoping he continues his stellar performances and leads us to greater heights.

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Ravens (A)
A good performance would be nice, but I am more interested in getting those points on the table. I want the players to feel they are heading in the right direction. Bromley will want to show they are good enough to compete with Notts, so it could be a tough game where our lads will have to dig deep. I agree, we have the quality to make the result go our way. I just want to see Notts defend like they have been, without conceding. That would be a confidence boost for everyone.

American Pie
I am awfully sorry to read about AmericanPie. I have seen comments from him in the past but never knew him on a personal level. I don’t know anyone that well on PON, but I do think the community cares about each other. That should be reminded to him.

Jodi Jones - New contract
Jodi Jones is clearly a very level-headed player. I wouldn’t blame him for wanting to play at a higher level at this stage. He’s still quite young and has the best years ahead of him, but he’s committed to Notts. What a fantastic attitude to have, as he seems to think he owes us something. He really doesn’t.
