  2. I also appreciate this video of Stall discussing the League Two season and sharing his views on the club. His insights are captivating, and I could listen to him all day.
  3. This is a fantastic video that truly gives me goosebumps. It’s wonderful to see the club acknowledging Jim in this manner.
  4. Owning a football club’s ground can have many benefits over leasing the land from the council. For one, it provides the club with greater control over the use and development of the ground. This can allow for more flexibility in terms of making improvements or renovations to the facilities, which can enhance the overall matchday experience for fans. In addition, owning the ground can provide a more stable and secure financial foundation for the club. Rather than having to pay rent to the council, the club can invest in its own infrastructure and generate revenue through various means such as ticket sales, merchandise, and concessions. This can help to ensure the long-term sustainability of the club and its operations. Owning a football club’s ground can provide many advantages over leasing from the council. It allows for greater control, flexibility, and financial stability, all of which are important factors in ensuring the success and longevity of a football club. I agree with @liampie, Notts should own the land. It offers more benefits than the exception of being worried about bad owners who may or may not want to sell the land.
  5. Echoing the sentiments of the Notts County captain Kyle Cameron, I have my fingers crossed for this season. This year, the team looks stronger and more determined than ever. With the right mix of ambition, teamwork, and persistence in our approach, I believe we can certainly make it among the top three. Yes, the challenge is real, but with challenges come opportunities - opportunities to outperform, grow, and show the world our grit and prowess. Looking forward to the kick-off.
  6. I believe it would be sensible to wait until at least 10 games have been played before reflecting on the difficulty of the league. However, I don’t disagree with Kyle Cameron and would actively encourage his ambitions, as these are qualities that drive a club forward. It may be challenging in League Two, given how many squads are strengthening and attempting to seize the opportunity for promotion to League One. I hope that we will be challenging for promotion by the time 15 games have been played. It would be incredible to harness the energy around the club to push us even further.
  7. I think we have players who can cause problems for other teams, but the main thing for me is to provide Macaulay Langstaff, or whoever else, with plenty of chances on goal. I do think Luke Williams is right about the way he’s going about things.
  8. It’s good value, and it would be interesting to know how many the club sells. It seems that the club only promotes this through their emails. I’m not sure how effective that is, but I would imagine that social media would be more useful.

  10. I am looking forward to seeing East Midlands Today tomorrow. It will be good to hear the positivity that the media has for Notts right now; these are things I am enjoying.
  11. He’s a very good player and certainly someone who could improve the squad and be a key player. If he’s in form, all the better for us if he does sign. I hope he’s not just training with us.
  12. Jayden Richardson was mostly class; once he got going, teams struggled to cope, and I thought he would do well with Aberdeen. Good luck to him at Stockport County.
  13. I think there will be mistakes at times by both sides; it just depends on whom it will prove to be more costly towards. I can see a draw happening, which seems the most likely outcome. It would be nice if Notts could get off to a win, but the season can be a slow race, and a point on the opening day isn’t something to knock.
  14. This season could be an exciting one for Notts indeed. The pre-season revealed an impressive combination of sustaining a defensive stronghold and executing smooth attack strategies. Especially with the depth of the squad, and the evident team chemistry, it appears there is a high chance they'll rise to challenges. The diverse recruitment made for fitting substitutes for each position, suggesting a healthy rotation system.
  15. Good luck to Harvey Owen. It’s great when youngsters get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play for one of the best teams in England.
  16. I thought that Ollie Tipton looked useful when Notts played Telford. I really hope he can settle and contribute to our season effectively. I trust the club’s recruitment, so I am sure he will be useful.
  17. Hello, @Steveyward, Welcome to PON. Its a good community here.
  18. Hello, @David Shipston, Welcome to PON. Its a good community here.
  19. The Scottish Championship is close to the standard of Leagues One and Two, so I think the move is excellent for him. If he does well, Celtic, Rangers, Dundee, etc. will most likely show interest in him, as well as teams in the EFL.
  20. Excellent team photo, it’s always good to see these. It’s great that everyone in the photo works 100% towards bringing the club success.
  21. From what I have seen, he is a very intelligent defender, physically strong and with a decent level of pace. I don’t mind loan signings like this, as it makes sense to bring in someone who will have to work hard but isn’t guaranteed to start. He looks like a very promising player, so I hope we can help him on his journey while seeing the best from him on the pitch.
  22. Good luck to Andy Dallas. I don’t blame him for choosing League One and Barnsley. It could pay off nicely for him.
  23. Ian Burchnall could have been a good manager, but it seems he bought into his own hype a little too much. I don’t think Forest Green Rovers was a good move for someone with ambitions, as Notts were on the verge of chasing promotion and FGR looked dead set for relegation from League One. I can’t imagine it was a much bigger payday, but who cares now? We have Luke Williams, who is 100% better than Burchnall. Burchnall was decent enough, but his decisions in games weren’t always the best. His reading and tactics alone lost Notts points.
  24. Good singer, I think her move to America played a lot on her mind as people who have spoken about her, always mention London and how she liked being there. Rest in peace, may she finally rest.
