  1. It was a narrow defeat for Notts tonight, but despite the defeat, there were some good performances. My player shortlist for Man of the match is as follows:- McGoldrick, Hinchy, Ness, Bedeau, Palmer, Tsaroulla, Jatta, Cisse.
  2. I think that we have to bear in mind that Notts are missing 6 of their best first team players & missing those players is starting to have it's affect. Notts have done so well to keep up with the league leaders despite the number of injuries. The team that Stuart is fielding are trying their level best, & it was no different tonight. There were some good performances. Jack Hinchy had his best game for Notts, David McGoldrick played very well again, & Lucas Ness played well too. Notts just need to hang in there and hope that results will improve once the six players return. I'm optimistic that the fortunes of the team will turn for the better in the new year.
  3. Notts stein sixth place just two points from the automatics.
  4. We have to take into account that Notts are missing 6 players who would go straight into the first eleven. The effect of the injured players is starting to show & Notts have done so well to get this far and still be in touch with the leaders . The players remaining are doing their best & could easily have salvaged a point at the end. Notts fans need to give the team some slack. The injured players are going to return at some point. Positives. Jack Hinchy had his best game for Notts. McGoldrick was magnificent & Ness played well too Let's get a few more wins & hopefully early in the new year we will have a full squad available again.
  5. GOOOOOAAAAAL HINCHY Full time. Defeat for Notts.
  6. Update A third for Walsall.
  7. Update. Update. Penalty to Notts. GOOOOOAAAAAL DIDZY 74 - GOAL! Typical McGoldrick - cool, calm and collected from 12 yards.
  8. Goal to Walsall. Update. Goal number 2 to Walsall.
  9. Goal to Walsall. Completely against the run of play. We saw Notts nearly score directly from the corner but Walsall have done that. Not a good goal from Notts to concede." - Stallard
  10. Update. Half time Notts are probably the happier of the two teams. They haven't really looked threatening." -Stallard
  11. Update Walsall 0 Notts 0. 36 mins
  12. Update. Walsall 0 Notts 0. 18 mins gone.
  13. Up to date injury list 1.Jodi Jones 2.Dan Crowley 3.Curtis Edwards 4.Conor Grant 5.Matty Platt 6.George Abbott Six of our best players out. Scott Robertson on the subs bench v Walsall.
  14. Tonight's team. No George Abbott or Matty Platt. Nice to see Scott Robertson on the subs bench.
  15. @liampie Stay warm & safe. Hope you come back with a positive result tonight. Would be great to read your comments on the game as you are there watching it.
  16. A nice thread started by PON on BlueSky. @prideofnottingham.bsky.social on Bluesky BSKY.APP On this day, in 1949, Tommy Lawton's "Header of the Century" opened the scoring...
  17. Looks like George Abbott is going to win.
  18. Good Morning. Reasonable morning here with some blue sky but it is a little chilly once again. Had a food delivery this morning. Some of the items not available. I do think the supermarkets give priority to those shoppers visiting the store. I'm sure that if I visited the store I would find a "not available" food item on the shelf. I know because I've seen it for myself. Looking forward to the match tonight. It's going to be a toughie, but I hope Notts can get a positive result.
  19. Poor weather on its way for the weekend.
