  1. the video makes you realise how he could change the outcome of a game and performance with just a touch of magic. i love his dink goal of gillingham. the last goal in the video is the best. i am still trying to decide which was the best team goal, as most of the goals he scored came from a pass and then touch of his class. its hard to pick.
  2. i hope you enjoy it. if you like a pre match drink, there is the embankment pub which is a nice stop and its quite laid back. we also have the nest which is located near the kop stand, and the navi which is a short walk from the clubs main gates and club shop.
  3. @McPie, he does seem to bring a lot of insight and his personal experience with burnley among the other clubs could really pay off. i also agree, that when people work from text books they are missing out on practical learning from individuals which might not help. dr rhodes approach sounds promising.
  4. i wonder if anyone has any arguments for the change? other than allowing more nations to qualify? it seems pretty pointless and not football motivated.
  5. hello, @Steve Harvey. its great to have you here. welcome to pon.

  12. hello, @Stringy Bob. welcome to the pon community.
  13. good luck to him, i hope he gets a move to the efl and does well.
  14. welcome to the pon site and community @Sheffield Pie.
  15. hello, welcome to the pon community @cher1 , @Michaeltharvey and @canuckpie. we love discussing notts and seeing what other fans think, you will find us friendly and encouraging. i hope each of you settle in on the site.
  16. i am wondering if we are going spend to bring in a replacement for david mcgoldrick. @ARLukomski are there any good freebies still free agents? i think the main two positions would be attacking midfield, to replace didzy and dan crowley. then the keeper, the rest will come but those for me are the key positions.
  17. are we ever always perfect? i think we get wrapped up with treating teams considered smaller than ours, that we should be winning them by 3 or more goals. had we drawn would people be complaining? possibly, but england will lose like this. i would worry if we became the manchester united of international football. and only then.
  18. i have not long finished the later shift, its been nice not to have to be out in the heat or waking up early for a change. im getting the pre season vibe now we have signed two players and of course have our first friendly game arranged.
  19. i hope to go, i think it would be a fun trip and its not cost, but time and if something comes up between now and closer to the friendlies date.
  20. its great news, it also makes sense to use the facilities with the uni. i dont know why we did not stick with them the first time, after basford United did not work out. sharing forests was useful, but if we can guarantee that we share the facilities issues it really would be ideal.
  21. i am happy with the signing, fans did not think george abbott would become a regular starter and there is no reason why tom iorpenda cant bring something different to the team. i dont like comparing players or referencing them to others, but i do hope he finds his feet with us and plays a big part just like abbott did.
  22. its early to say, but it looks like we are adding height and pace into the team in the areas where we could do with it more. rather than just the back, but i agree tom iorpenda looks to be an excellent loan signing. it will be interesting to see which position we bring in next, still need to hire the head coach. 😁
  23. if its warm, please try to stay in the shade and dehydrated, but i am sure you know this @Robbie. @Fan of Big Tone, hope you are having a nice time tone. i am not in work tomorrow until 1:30pm, i have to work with the night shift partly as we have had new shelves and storage installed to make room for the modernisation. so, i will have a bit of extra sleep for once.
  24. it could make a significant difference, as our recruitment and squad building as shown we can spend what budget we have wisely. i know the past two seasons could have been different, with higher finishes but maybe this appointment is a sign of trying to stay the course? its positive news from the club.
  25. hello and welcome to pon, @Johnnykingofthepies. i hope you settle in and get familiar with the community we have, you will soon be made welcome by others.
