Update Your Status: Encouraging Members to Share Moments on PON
yeah, it would be nice to see it being used as an extension to what is happening. some things might not be right as a conversation, such as more personal things and that is where the status feature could thrive. i did not know about it until tone shared about his running, or i had forgot about it. i have used it to check in with people too.

Match Discussion: FC Kaiserslautern v Notts.
good to see the pictures and video of the players training, i hope its not as hot there as we have it because i would find it hard to train in the heat. its great to see the lads pushing themselves, and its nice that martin paterson sees that our fitness levels are important for the success he wants to bring. fc kaiserlautern sound like another great test.

Notts County secure Manchester United defender Sonny Aljofree on season-long loan
most players his age by now are released by united, so he has something about him and being loaned out last season gives him plenty of experience. i dont read much into it when the club says they beat off bigger clubs, as i think its more about the player wanting to be a part of the right environment and i think we do offer a lot for a young player. hope he enjoys playing at meadow lane and in front of us notts fans. we will make him feel at home.

NCFC Academy News
@Simon Clark, its okay, because jatta will snap their legs if they try it. 😂 no i would agree, it might be best to see how the game goes and bring him on from off the bench if its safe.

New signing Sonny Aljofree I assume
i hope he does not find himself without the chance to play, because we need to be ensuring those with fight starts games and with the amount of games it could be worth rotating at key teams so we reserve our better defenders for the big games and allow players like sonny to come in when we are playing teams were we can make a few changes without much concern. i think its a good signing, i hope he does well.

Martin Paterson Reflects on SV Darmstadt 98 Defeat but Sees Plenty of Positives
i like that he backs his players with their challenges, we are not a dirty team and although i have not seen the tackle itself. the way football is going you wont be able to tackle at all. i think aside from that being silly, martin paterson says all the right things the right things. i like that he wont back down or treat friendlies as games we cant win. i just wont get excited if we do, because i know they are about fitness more than anything.

Match discussion: PSF - Darmstadt 98
trialists and not the full xi, i get what you are saying but without our strongest squad its hard to see anything negative. i know you are not, but my point is that we looked stronger with some of the changes. i hope it does give us more to think about, as it sounds like we should have been more alert in the first half. their second goal looks questionable for offside.

Would you feature James Sanderson in the First Team?
i think most fans want the squad to have players who come through the academy within their first team, i do wonder how many teams these days do this but without pushing and giving them a chance in the squad, its unlikely. its something i feel disappointed about because we just allow the potential to be wasted.

Didzy joins Barnsley
things change, but i dont really care as much now hes left. i dont think his message really helped to take the impact off notts and whilst i do question his comments arriving at notts for his second spell. i am pleased hes not going to be playing against us. a different player would be getting stick and i do not wish for that which is why i do not care.

Poetic Pies
brilliant poems @Michael D Pie.. 👏🏻👏🏻 @Chris ask fans to record parts and put it together like you once tried, i am sure people can record good enough audio on their smartphones now.

Jatta Ain't Going To Germany
i think people are reading more into it because of this. part of me does wonder if notts did not want to take him jatta now, for whatever reason. i dont think its to sell him but maybe to keep him?

Standing with Kimbo: A Magpie's Bravest Fight Yet
i am saddened to read this, kim is a well known figure. i used to see her often at home games and it was nice to see her in passing at away games last season. she is a larger than life person, who does a lot for the supporters club. i really hope she manages to do everything she wishes for, and i hope the treatment helps.

Announcement: Updates on upgrades and further site work - 3rd July
nice! slowly but surely we are getting ready for the new season.

Jack Stevens to Oldham
he did very well with solihull moors, i think hes ready to make a step up to league two and i think he could do well for oldham. hes a player i would not have minded in the squad, but i am not worried or dwelling on the fact he signed for a different club. if news came out saying he was on our radar and we missed out on him, i might feel a bit disappointed.

Jatta Ain't Going To Germany
one plus, is that the b team will benefit from having alassana jatta within the team but will it impact his pre-season? he should be fine, he misses the first few games anyway. i just find it funny that people are speculating hes on his way out just because of it.

The Grant Paradox
i like conor grant, i think he looks like a good player and hes one of those who looks to be always thinking. i think if martin paterson can form a good relationship with him as our head coach, he could be one of the players who would benefit. i was not all that impressed myself with the number 9 in the alfreton game. he did some neat things, but he did make some bad passes. i dont think we should go too heavy in experience in the attacking midfield position. i would rather stick with grant and have someone else with pace coming in.

Match discussion: PSF - Darmstadt 98
i hope we put on a good showing and it will be interesting to see which trialists make the trip, since notts has said some are going. a bit disappointed jatta could not make it, is the visa issue due to going to germany or is the visa he gets from playing for notts? if we win, i hope fans dont get carried away. we put a good showing on last time but fell short late on.

Would you feature James Sanderson in the First Team?
sam osborne played against notts in the alfreton town game, he did well and looked very lively. caused lucas ness no end of trouble and got the better of him. i wad disappointed when we let him go, because when we played him he showed promise and scored. something that some of the experienced players in the team could not do. when kevin nolan said that he would only play players who where better than what we had i really wondered how he got his break in football. unless you are really, really good you have to gain experience from playing. i think there are a few promising players, james sanderson being one. riley reynolds looks decent, as does cisse.

Ricardo returns to AS Trencin
good luck to him, i do have a soft spot for ricardo and just wished he managed to have a longer stay at a club because i think he could build something special in time.

Partick Thistle ask fans for help with new players lodgings
good for them, scottish football does seem a bit more together with fans helping those who cant afford season tickets to get one. i would not be against housing any new players to help settle, i have two spare rooms which i have tried to encourage @CliftonMagpie and his girlfriend to take up since renting is very expensive right now. it makes a lot of sense to offer a room, and integrate with support.

Heat Wave
its been really nice the past few days, like really enjoyable to go out and have walks without feeling like you cant. its the summer where we have a normal week, rain and then blistering heat. i guess its better than having no sun at all.

New shirt
yellow and green was the first kit the reedtz had with notts? our first season in the national league? i think they are proper nottingham colours and i would not mind a design similar to the above but more plain. i cant imagine any fancy designs of a magpie or whatever would be on it.

Weekly Chat - Monday 7th to Sunday 13th July
i have just finished work, i thought i would check on pon before i drive home. im waiting to give a friend a lift to wollaton, but they finish at half past and i finished around 3pm today. nothing exciting about work, just maintaining the pallets ready for their deliveries and general cleaning of the areas that are not in use. the cleaning is the trickier bit, as its important you do it but without damaging other areas that might contain stock and parcels. @Fan of Big Tone, just make sure you dont price things too low. glad you got the sale and for someone to buy it from sheffield says they got a good deal.

Trouble at Morecambe FC again
so is there a battle between the main owner and the board? it sounds like a soap drama and not a professional football club. the owner needs to put his hands up and move on with his life, i can never understand why people put themselves in this issue. we have seen it twice at notts where a owner says hes selling the club, only to hang onto it for dear life and it never does well. people end up not being paid, and that is ruining lifes because everyone has bills to pay. the statement reads like an awful attempt to twist things and to scare people off, does the morecambe owner want to be like putin? a dictator??
