  1. What a fantastic read! @Fan of Big Tone’s love for Notts County is truly inspiring. It’s amazing to see how much the club means to him and how it has been such a big part of his life. His memories and experiences are so touching, and it’s great to see them being shared in this article.
  2. Notts County are the oldest professional football club in the world, but they are also one of the smallest in terms of fan base. The Magpies have struggled to compete with bigger and more successful clubs in the region, such as Nottingham Forest and Derby County, and have seen their attendances decline over the years. They have also failed to appeal to younger generations, who may prefer to follow Premier League or European teams instead. In this forum post, we want to discuss how Notts County can attract more young fans and grow their fan base. What can the club do to make themselves more relevant and attractive to the youth? How can they increase their exposure and reach in the media and online? How can they foster a sense of loyalty and identity among their fans? What are some initiatives or campaigns that Notts County can launch to attract more young fans? Share your ideas and suggestions with us and let’s help Notts County grow.
  3. Notts County have played in many different stadiums over the years, from the iconic Wembley to the humble Field Mill. Some of them have been memorable for the right reasons, such as the atmosphere, the facilities, the views, or the results. Others have been memorable for the wrong reasons, such as the poor conditions, the hostile fans, the bad location, or the defeats. In this forum post, we want to hear from you. What are the best and worst stadiums you have seen Notts County play in? How did they affect your experience of watching the Magpies? Share your opinions and stories with us and let’s compare notes.

  7. Potentially, another Sam Austin type signing and I am excited about this signing. I do hope it doesn't mean we are parting ways with Aaron Nemane, but in either case we have Jodi Jones and now Will Randall.
  8. Carlisle United did well to achieve promotion. They’ve had seasons where they deserved to reach League One but didn’t quite make it. I’m happy for them.
  9. Joel Taylor is a formidable player. Since he’s familiar with Chester, he should be guaranteed more playing time, which is what he wants. I thought he would have signed with a League Two or National League team. Good luck to him at Chester.
  10. I remember the open letter. It inspired many other fans to try to achieve the same thing. I hope they’re still fans of the teams they said they would support. It was a great share at the time and it’s still nice to reflect on its positive message.
  11. Langstaff has been a fantastic star this season, scoring stunning goals and providing endless pleasure to watch. He deserves all the recognition and more. I’m amazed by his commitment to the Magpies.
  12. I believe that one of the key things he brings to the team is stability at the back. For some time now, Notts has struggled to retain a group of players capable of forming a cohesive squad. This is particularly true when it comes to the defence. Ideally, all we need is for Aaron Nemane and Kyle Cameron to commit to the team. I am extremely pleased that Sam Slocombe has agreed to a new two-year deal.
  13. I anticipate that it will be an enjoyable match. There is certainly no harm in facing Alfreton once more during this pre-season. They are likely to provide Notts with a challenging test away from home. I have a feeling that Alfreton will be particularly motivated for the friendly, especially since they know we will be returning again.
  14. It seems intriguing. I tend to stream more than I watch television, so I may be behind by the time I get around to it. Nevertheless, I will certainly give it a watch.
  15. I’m pleased that Sam is staying with us. He’s one of the best keepers in the league and has shown his skill time after time. He’s also a great teacher for the young lads and a true professional. I hope he can help us get back to where we belong.

For once, our finances seem to be in a strong position. Hopefully, the Reedtz will continue to provide the appropriate level of investment, leading to success on the pitch.
  17. The rumours are intriguing, especially since it’s been quiet on the Notts front. The club does a good job of keeping their recruitment under wraps, leaving us to speculate about potential departures.
  18. Hello, @LesBradd4England. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham. It's nice to be welcoming you to the site. I hope you enjoy joining in with our discussions and content.
  19. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @McSwegansRightPeg. I am glad to see you have joined us. I hope you enjoy the site.
  20. Teams can improve rapidly, and it’s uncertain who will successfully make the step-up. In 2–3 years, we could see a player like Connell Rawlinson, who some have dismissed, performing at his very best. The point is, we don’t know what will happen. Let’s focus on becoming a strong club at the League Two level before aiming for promotion and repeating the process in League One.
  21. Hello, @Magpie Bill. I am pleased to be welcoming you to the Pride of Nottingham site.
  22. It's always a joy, to be welcoming a new member! Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham, @two for joy.
  23. What a legend! Rawlo deserves this new deal more than anyone. He’s been a rock at the back for us and a leader on and off the pitch. Can’t wait to see him in action in League Two next season. Come on you Pies!
  24. Connell Rawlinson is a brilliant experienced player. His passion and fight aren’t easy to replace. Younger legs could be useful, but having someone who will and can run through brick walls is equally important. I actually think his passing has improved; people said he just lumps it, but he’s adapted well to Luke Williams’ instructions on how he envisions Rawlinson playing.
  25. I spent the weekend writing. I had to bring home someone else’s work and focus on improving it in time for today, so it could go to the publishers. Although it wasn't the perfect situation, I demonstrated my willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. I know the editor appreciated it; two other writers said they had plans. So yeah… Saturday and Sunday, I spent writing by the side of my apartment overlooking Manchester residents and visitors having a good time.
