What a game young Jack Grealish had for Villa against Liverpool today. How I wish we had him in the squad now.

Has now apparently left Ilkeston Town after a very short stay and signed for Worcester City, higher in the leagues I believe and probably nearer to where he lives.

Dear Notts County fans I am a Leyton Orient fan and I come in peace and to ask for your help. In 2012, London hosted a fantastic Olympics, but the legacy of that event could be the very future of smaller football clubs with a long and proud history. The bill for reconversion of the stadium stands at £272m with West Ham United only contributing £15m. Boris Johnson, the LLDC and the government, refuse point blank to publish the rental agreement that sees the taxpayer forking out for repairs, water, electric, pitch maintenance, stewarding and even policing costs, meaning a massive state aid giveaway – an unfair subsidy on competition between ALL clubs, and not ju…

Something strange happened on opening day at Doncaster, 2 bizarre goals.... late in the game Donny had Nathan Cameron injured, with Bury putting the ball out so the Doncaster player could receive treatment... following the stoppage and in trying to return the ball to the Bury keeper, Harry Forrester lobbed the keeper and the referee awarded the goal.... after trying to get the goal ruled out.... Paul Dickov (him who is usually the villain) apparently instructed his side not to oppose Bury and to allow them to walk in an equalizer... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut6B91bN2m8 So Paul Dickov has been rightly praised and lauded for his sporting behaviour....for once!

Do you watch any other teams aside from Notts or your respective club? If so, why? I have been to see Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Watford, Kettering, Notts, Port Vale, Middlesborough and Millwall. I tend to get invited to games by friends, in fact I plan to attend your game against Mansfield.

Lincoln City are looking to add further depth to their strike force and have agreed to take Shaun Harrad on as a trial. Personally, I wish him all the best. He gave his best when he joined and I do not feel he had been given a fair shot under Shaun Derry, regardless he has moved on and I think Lincoln could be pretty ideal for hi, Do you feel Lincoln would be a good move for him? Thoughts?

What little character he has left after the assassination of it by all corners of the media, let us see if we can totally finish the job. He pledges his future to Aston Villa, assuring them he is going nowhere, everybody holds him up as some kind of modern paragon of virtue. Before you know it, he has changed his mind, and decided he does want to leave after all.... No messing about, straight up to Manchester and before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, he is a City player. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33572493 On the 7th of November Manchester City travel to Villa Park, now I am not normally a fan of the premier league, but this one game has s…

The all conquering English Premier League is now in the spotlight again for the wrong reasons... you can forget all the latest signings, we all know that the only thing supporting that league is money, from broadcasting and from sponsorship.... This latest article says that most of the premier league clubs do not cater sufficiently for disabled fans, in fact some of them behave abhorrently. Lord Holmes is going to be writing to sponsors and broadcasters partners to try and persuade them to withdraw their support for the league and the way things are on this topic. Is this likely to succeed, we all know that big business does not like its name to be associated with all t…

FGR are looking to build a new stadium, it looks impressive providing they do not have to compromise to appease planners http://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/news/first-team-news/2015/new-eco-park-stadium-plans-unveiled Mind you, the thing that gets me, how on earth did FGR manage to attract Dale Vince.... the one time anti-establishment new age traveller turned eco businessman is the one bankrolling the club..... Could it simply be that they are the biggest team with the word "Green" in the name.....

Who are the best players within each area in League Two? Goalkeeper ? Defender ? Midfielder ? Striker? Have a go, even if you do not complete them all. It will be interesting to see who says what.

What a great deal by the Blues. If him and Costa start every game them will rip the league apart. He didn't perform at Manure but he's had a year to get settled with the league and if he goes to Chelsea he is going to be up front with a partner who he can score goals or fun with. It will be the best close season signing imo if it goes through.

I bet @Dan is excited about the way in which the Staggs are building for the upcoming season, it seems they have a good approach to the type of players it takes to put a disappointing season behind themselves but also to bid for a brighter 2015/16 season campaign. Would anyone here have liked to see Craig Westcarr return back to Notts? Thoughts on Mansfield? Discuss folks.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33015657 Something has to give, however I am not sure the coverage is fair because it makes it seem that all clubs avoid hiring managers based on the colour of their skin, rather than the merits each manager processes. That said, I really hope it does pave way for managers to given a fair shot and hopefully we will see some black players progress into management. I do think we have to avoid the 'we must' hire, because it will should be down to the talent and CV, which I just think that if someone like Paul Ince doesn't get a job - he will end up crying wolf and then the game will be into dispute. Overall I am keen to see the change…
