  1. It’s encouraging to see Luke Williams’ insights. His approach demonstrates his professionalism, and we’re fortunate to have him as our manager. It’s clear that Notts and his methods complement each other. I just hope our form improves, or at least our performances do.
  2. I’m glad that Macaulay Langstaff doesn’t burden himself with targets or overcomplicate things. His sensible attitude shows he’s adjusting well to life in League Two. It was never a doubt, just a matter of time. When you’re dedicated to learning, the process becomes enjoyable and can greatly improve your skills. Well done, Macca!
  3. I appreciate Lewis Macari’s mindset. The fact that he left Stoke City for more playing time says a lot. Once we sort out our defensive issues, I believe he will play a crucial role in advancing the club. He has many years to improve, and his remarks about Luke Williams are telling.
  4. If Notts can somehow score first, that would be a good thing. Usually, that alone boosts our players’ confidence. I don’t have high hopes for the game, I think it’s hard to believe we will win. At the same time, I hope they don’t find it easy to break us down because that would be an extra setback that will make it harder to recover from. The team just needs to work hard and try to get through the game as best as they can.
  5. Miracle on 34th Street, originally released on June 4, 1947, is my favourite Christmas film. It’s a classic that’s often overlooked, but it’s a very good film
  6. I have no words about Steve Cooper being fired. Fans of Forest should be upset with their club’s choice, but they probably won’t be.
  7. Luke is facing a challenging situation. If the players don’t heed his advice during matches and he reacts this way in interviews, it could lead to speculation that he’s lost control of the dressing room, which I don’t believe is true. Football can change rapidly, and for us, Notts are in the worst phase that Williams has had to deal with during his tenure. Instead of calling for his dismissal or making excuses for the decline, let’s support him and hope we can do enough to prevent this from completely derailing our season.
  8. If we visit Harrogate without making the necessary defensive enhancements, we might be in for a tough match. I concur that the midfield can make a significant difference, but we need to function more cohesively as a team.
  9. Well, if the cap doesn’t start bringing luck, you might need to find some holy water, perhaps a six-leaf clover, or place a rabbit’s foot under it. Something has to work eventually.
  10. Harrogate will provide Notts with a chance to demonstrate the improvements we need. There’s no reason why we can’t slow down and focus on building a solid defence in the game. Sometimes we rush, and at other times, a lack of creativity results in the ball being sent back. We need to avoid this as much as possible, as it would boost our confidence moving forward if we can create goal-scoring opportunities.
  11. Hello, welcome to PON @Darryl Chapman. A few posts and comments here, some there and you will be well away within the community.
  12. Hello, welcome to PON @Max Roberts. A few posts and comments here, some there and you will be well away within the community.

  14. Not only separated at birth, but all three are excellent managers in their own right! Remarkable.
  15. Yeah, it’s a bit ridiculous that the penalty doesn’t accurately reflect a fair punishment for all the rules the club violated. I do wonder how they managed to make so many errors, it’s astonishing.
  16. This is truly distressing news. It must have been dreadful to be at the match or even nearby when it all happened.
  17. I think Paul Bolland ended his football career at Harrogate Town.
  18. We must leave the past behind and concentrate on applying our learned lessons moving forward. I concur with Luke Williams that this must be demonstrated in matches, but knowing that we’re training well is still a positive sign. Hopefully, we won’t lose heart and will enter the Harrogate match with a desire to improve. We’ve used losses as catalysts for improvement, and that’s exactly what we need now. With proper organisation and avoiding lapses in focus, results should follow.

  21. It's great to see you joining in @Callumpie, even better to see you add a display picture and other info. Welcome to PON!
  22. Brilliantly analysed, PON News. I'm particularly interested in Crowley and Jones' partnership. They seem to be hitting form at the perfect time and could be catalytic in shaping this match's outcome.
  23. A wonderful interview with a real captain! Kyle Cameron's pragmatic outlook is refreshing. Yes, we're doing well, but we've got to iron out those defensive lapses. Every game is a battle, and without a solid defence, winning is a far-fetched dream. Time to step up, Notts.
  24. On paper, Walsall might seem like a team we should beat. However, I think it’s important not to underestimate them. I trust that Luke Williams and his team have done their homework by reviewing the opposition’s footage, so I’m optimistic about our starting 11. The upcoming match at Meadow Lane promises to be an exciting one.
  25. I make sure I walk for 30 minutes most days, apart from walking. I'm about the perfect weight for my age and size, work keeps me on my toes. On Fridays, I usually go for a jog after having a drink or two with my colleagues, quite handy as long as I don't end up missing the bus.
