If Notts can somehow score first, that would be a good thing. Usually, that alone boosts our players’ confidence. I don’t have high hopes for the game, I think it’s hard to believe we will win. At the same time, I hope they don’t find it easy to break us down because that would be an extra setback that will make it harder to recover from. The team just needs to work hard and try to get through the game as best as they can.

Football can change rapidly, and for us, Notts are in the worst phase that Williams has had to deal with during his tenure. Instead of calling for his dismissal or making excuses for the decline, let’s support him and hope we can do enough to prevent this from completely derailing our season.

If we visit Harrogate without making the necessary defensive enhancements, we might be in for a tough match. I concur that the midfield can make a significant difference, but we need to function more cohesively as a team.

Well, if the cap doesn’t start bringing luck, you might need to find some holy water, perhaps a six-leaf clover, or place a rabbit’s foot under it. Something has to work eventually.

Harrogate will provide Notts with a chance to demonstrate the improvements we need. There’s no reason why we can’t slow down and focus on building a solid defence in the game. Sometimes we rush, and at other times, a lack of creativity results in the ball being sent back. We need to avoid this as much as possible, as it would boost our confidence moving forward if we can create goal-scoring opportunities.

Hopefully, we won’t lose heart and will enter the Harrogate match with a desire to improve. We’ve used losses as catalysts for improvement, and that’s exactly what we need now. With proper organisation and avoiding lapses in focus, results should follow.

On paper, Walsall might seem like a team we should beat. However, I think it’s important not to underestimate them. I trust that Luke Williams and his team have done their homework by reviewing the opposition’s footage, so I’m optimistic about our starting 11. The upcoming match at Meadow Lane promises to be an exciting one.

I make sure I walk for 30 minutes most days, apart from walking. I'm about the perfect weight for my age and size, work keeps me on my toes. On Fridays, I usually go for a jog after having a drink or two with my colleagues, quite handy as long as I don't end up missing the bus.
