  1. It’s great to have Adam Chicksen back. Hopefully, he’ll get more time on the pitch because he can be a valuable player. To bring out his best, he needs to play consistently. We haven’t seen his best this season, mostly due to his intermittent appearances.
  2. A warm hello to you, @samantha louise. Welcome to PON.
  3. A warm and friendly hello, @magpiemad. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  4. Ben Davies truly demonstrated his value in our first season back in League One. His performance that season was exceptional, especially considering he was part of the Munto League Two winning team. Alongside Neal Bishop, he formed the bedrock of the squad. Watching him play was a real treat, and he was not only an impressive player on the field but also a genuinely nice person off it.
  5. I’ve cast my vote, and I wish the best of luck to all the nominees. A big thank you to those who nominated me and voted for me. I believe the deserving candidate will win, but I’m grateful for the recognition.
  6. After witnessing Notts’ defeat at Wimbledon, I’m planning to vanish into thin air tomorrow. I have no plans, but I finished work on Friday, excited about a weekend away, only to return feeling like I need another weekend away from football. Work and football, they can be a real double whammy, can’t they?
  7. It was a disappointing match overall. Notts must improve their away game performance as we’re not earning enough points to keep up with the leaders from home games alone. Conceding two goals in the manner we did was frustrating. It was a relief to pull it back, and it seemed like we were on track to win. However, poor defending cost us the match, and the first half was repeated without any comeback. The two penalties were another source of frustration due to clumsy decisions to go for the ball at inopportune times.
  8. @Piethagoram I believe many fans would concur with you about Tiernan Brooks. It would be fantastic to see him as our first choice, but I think he’s still a bit off from that. Perhaps once Sam Slocombe retires or moves on, he’ll be in a better position to compete with Aiden Stone. However, it seems like he’s being groomed for a long-term role.
  9. Watching Jack Grealish was a delight, his confidence and skill even back then were beyond his years. There’s not a Notts fan who wouldn’t be pleased to have seen him play for Notts, and it’s wonderful to see him regularly expressing his affection for our club.
  10. What about Manchester City? While everyone else is losing points, the bigger clubs continue to disregard the Financial Fair Play rules.
  11. I don’t participate in Black Friday, it’s all nonsense to me and I rarely consider taking advantage of a sale. There’s just no incentive for me to buy items.
  12. He’s a crucial part of what makes Notts function so well. When he joined us, his presence made a noticeable difference and the way he simply plays his game is admirable. While the loss of Matt Palmer is the biggest setback this season for me, I’m relieved that Bostock’s injury sustained against Mansfield didn’t result in a lengthy absence.
  13. Solid defensive tactics combined with a booming forward line – the County really has it going this season. Wimbledon is going to find it hard to penetrate our defense. Let’s bag this one, lads. I have got my money on you, Notts!
  14. There are always a couple of fools who are willing to speak out, whether they’re Notts fans or not. It’s not acceptable, and I hope the police are treating it as a hate crime.
  15. It appears his shooting accuracy hasn’t gotten any better since he left us. He’s a promising talent, but he often missed his target.
  16. Bristol City 0-0 Middlesbrough Preston North End 0-2 Cardiff City Lincoln City 1-2 Barnsley Northampton Town 2-0 Cambridge United Crawley Town 1-0 Harrogate Town Walsall 2-1 Forest Green Rovers Joker Aldershot 1-1 Halifax Town Gateshead 1-0 Southend United
  17. Notts scored some truly outstanding goals, while Bradford’s seemed somewhat fortuitous, though they certainly put in the effort to earn them. Do you mean their number 7, Jamie Walker @DangerousSausage? While it may not quite match the level of ‘Big Sam’, I found it to be quite stylish and traditional. It brought to mind the likes of Brian Kilcline and Dean Thomas.
  18. With AFC Wimbledon playing at home, they’ll be eager to reverse their current form. I’d suggest a particular strategy for this. Does anyone have an update on Adam Chicksen’s injury status? I heard he’s dealing with a minor issue. Personally, I’d prefer him over Will Randall, as I believe Chicksen would be superior both offensively and defensively. Slocombe Baldwin, Brindley, Cameron Nemane, Bostock, Randall Crowley McGoldrick Langstaff I’m eagerly anticipating @Ohh Tommy Johnson's insights on the team lineup, as well as @menzinho and @Fozzy’s analysis of the game and the opposition.
  19. Charlie McParland is known for his candidness, and it’s true that Luke Williams does possess a certain edge. I can also see where Charlie is coming from regarding Ian Burchnall; he did seem a bit self-absorbed. I wouldn’t go as far as to label him ego-driven, but it did appear to be more about him than the players.
  20. The accolade for Team Member of the Month should go to @DangerousSausage and @Chris, while @Piethagoram deserves the title of Member of the Month.
  21. The fans forum was a pleasant surprise, offering fans a wealth of insight. Although I had initially planned to request an invitation, I ultimately decided against it. To be honest, I didn’t anticipate the event to be so well-organised. I had assumed it would be a more basic affair, primarily focused on the new CEO acclimatising to the club and soliciting ideas. However, it appears that everyone had done their homework. Impressive indeed.
  22. Dan Crowley has proven to be an essential addition to the team this season. From the very first match, he has not only met expectations but has continually evolved in his role. His performances on home turf never fail to leave a lasting impression. Crowley is the kind of player who can ignite a spark in the game, contribute significantly to the play, or even bring it to a triumphant conclusion. He is, without a doubt, an extraordinary player.
  23. I believe Jodi performed well with the limited time he had, contributing to an attack that nearly succeeded. I concur with the previous opinions too, he should have been in the starting lineup. It leads me to wonder if they were hoping England would fatigue, but I think England outperformed their performance on home ground. Jodi shouldn’t feel too disheartened, at least he had the chance to play.
  24. I’m optimistic about the victory. Bradford might step up their game, but realistically, we should be gaining maximum points against the teams that are struggling so far. Indeed, Bradford will pose a challenge and most likely turn it into a competitive match, but it’s up to us to leverage our home advantage. Please, no disturbances, Notts fans.
  25. It's uplifting to see the firm commitment of Williams to Notts County. In an era where loyalty seems to have taken a backseat, he stands tall as a symbol of dedication and resilience. In the world of football where headlines are often dominated by tales of betrayal and blatant commercialism, Williams' story is indeed a breath of fresh air.
