  1. There isn't any recorded appearances on any statistical sites since 2021-22.I somehow merged a different comment with this, whilst using my phone. I can say for certain that he's still playing.
  2. I believe it’s crucial to remain positive and concentrate on the league. With the right approach and nurturing, the academy will flourish over time. If our youth players aren’t making the team, then we need to do more, and that should be our long-term focus. For now, let’s concentrate on our comeback.
  3. It’s uncertain whether he has had any appearances since the 2021-22 season. Ask away please, @Fan of Big Tone.
  4. Round 14 Clue: Born in Leicester, Leicestershire, on a day when the leaves were falling in 1992, I began my journey in football with a scholarship contract at a club renowned for its black and white stripes. @Fozzy @super_ram @Piethagoram @liampie please join in.
  5. I’m excited to be returning to Meadow Lane and I believe we’ll hold our own against Forest Green. I do hope they don’t force us to attack the KOP in the first half, as it seems like a tactic they might employ to throw us off. Regardless, I’m confident we’ll rise to the occasion and ensure the game is energetic. I hope we can maintain our vocal support even as the weather gets chillier. It truly makes a difference at matches, and I reckon the FGR fans will need to bring their A-game to make an impression. Jodi Jones could shift to the right, with Adam Chicksen stepping in on the left. If we keep the rest of the lineup unchanged and focus on feeding Macaulay Langstaff, we can seize our opportunities and give them a run for their money.
  6. I’ll be initiating a new round at 6pm today @Fozzy @super_ram. Alternatively, it might be later @Fan of Big Tone - I look forward to seeing you all at the agreed time. I trust you’re prepared for the challenge ahead.
  7. It’s commendable that the Notts players are diligently improving their fitness and performance levels. This certainly gives them an edge when other teams begin to tire, allowing them to maintain their momentum. As the season progresses, this could prove crucial, with teams potentially losing focus and fitness. Dan Crowley is currently in exceptional form, and he deserves credit for his efforts.
  8. It’s gratifying to evaluate our squad and appreciate the team’s quality. It’s heartening to observe the abundance of talent within players who are on the cusp of breaking into the first team, all eager to make a contribution. The morale within Notts’ squad is not just impressive on an individual level, but as a collective unit. This is particularly evident following matches like the one against Salford.
  9. I’m endeavouring to keep you in suspense, but I will corroborate this with @Fozzy and @super_ram to attempt to equalise the competition. ????
  10. Notts has consistently demonstrated their ability to compete against any team, including teams like Salford. The anticipated return of Macaulay Langstaff, Matt Palmer, Jodi Jones, and Aaron Nemane to the squad certainly strengthens their chances of a win. Their individual skills and collective teamwork could potentially tip the balance in their favour. I’m looking forward to an exhilarating match! This isn’t the place to be making such statements; it’s one of those things that simply mustn’t be jinxed. This is a pivotal match, and Notts must disregard their home form, as should you. ????
  11. The instant the ball reached Kyle Cameron, it seemed as though space itself had unfolded. The moment he hit the ball, it appeared destined solely for the back of the net. I wager that the Cameron household is as thrilled with the goal as Kyle himself.
  12. The upcoming game will likely see us experimenting with the team line-up. However, Luke Williams should be cautious about who he chooses to rest. Macaulay Langstaff is one player I hope will get some rest, especially considering the upcoming Salford game. Competing against Wolves U21s should still be within our capabilities.
  13. Well, Luke Williams is far from being a lackadaisical coach, and our club provides an excellent foundation for you to excel in football. This is evident in Dan Crowley’s increasingly impressive performances. He appears to be quite settled and has adapted well to Williams’ expectations. Having begun his career at Villa before moving to Arsenal, it’s high praise indeed that he claims to have never been as content as he is now at Notts County. He’s a fantastic player who can assist us in reaching our objectives. Here’s hoping we can maintain our title challenge.
  14. Notts persistently pressed in the second half, dominating the game. I had a hunch that it would take a long-range strike to equalise for us and restore parity for the club. The first half was decent, but the standout moments for Notts undoubtedly occurred in the latter 45 minutes. The moment when our captain, Kyle Cameron, scored was truly spectacular.
  15. I believe Notts performed well in the first half, but we struggled to capitalise on our play in the final third. MK Dons also had a strong first half and managed to trouble Aiden Stone on several occasions. Seeing the ball flash past Stone made my heart race, but I have faith in his abilities and he made some impressive saves. In the second half, Notts were exceptional and MK Dons were simply trying to hold on. I agree that the cynical challenges they made should have resulted in cards being issued. Their game quickly became about disrupting our play, and if Macaulay Langstaff had found the back of the net, it would have been even sweeter. However, a draw seems like a fair result to me.
  16. I’m delighted for Kyle Cameron. MK Dons presented a challenge with their defensive tactics, and Notts certainly didn’t shy away from probing. In terms of goal opportunities, we appeared to be the superior side, particularly when it came to finding the back of the net. The away end erupted when Cameron’s shot found its mark. I believed we would be able to capitalise on this and secure a victory, but a draw on the road is still a commendable result.
  17. Both teams are missing a lot of quality. I think whoever takes Jodi Jones’ place has a chance to show why they should be in the squad. A good performance from them could lift Notts, but I think the game is going to be very difficult. Both MK Dons and our midfield will be testing each other. There’s quality in both sides and I just hope we don’t buckle under the pressure.
  18. Dan Crowley’s partnership with Jodi Jones and Aaron Nemane is a testament to the strong bonds that exist within the squad. The players have developed a deep understanding of each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and this is evident in their performances on the pitch. It’s particularly impressive to see how seamlessly the summer signings have integrated into the team, adapting to our style of play with ease. Crowley’s contributions to our attacking play are invaluable; even when we don’t have possession, he works tirelessly to win the ball back or position himself strategically for when a teammate does. He’s a player who is always thinking ahead.
  19. It’s fantastic to see Luke Williams being recognised as the Manager of the Month. This is a significant accolade for him and the team, acknowledging the immense effort required to achieve success. Williams’ pragmatic reflection on being at the top of the league demonstrates his level-headed approach; he’s not one to rest on his laurels. Complacency can easily creep in, especially given our team’s strength and competitive edge. However, the season is lengthy and it’s likely we’ll face some challenges along the way. Williams is acutely aware of this reality and continues to make judicious decisions.
  20. I will try to obtain it for when I know that @Fan of Big Tone is unavailable. I will simply ask his partner in crime, @super_ram. In all seriousness, I will post the next round on Monday at 6 pm, promptly and without delay.
  21. Macaulay Langstaff put in an outstanding performance against Accrington Stanley, scoring two goals and contributing significantly to the team’s success. He could have easily scored more than just a brace, such was his dominance throughout the game. His first goal was a thing of beauty, and it was a joy to see it find the back of the net. With his second goal, there was never any doubt that he would convert the chance. Langstaff is undoubtedly a talented player, and we are incredibly proud to have him representing our club.
  22. Winning at home always creates a positive atmosphere, but when you are at the top of the league and performing well, it’s crucial to maintain that form when travelling to away games. Notts County have done an excellent job of making Meadow Lane feel more inclusive on match days. Everything about this season seems to be better, from the improved PA system to the overall matchday experience. However, it’s the fans in the stands who are making the biggest difference, providing support for their team.
  23. It’s going to be interesting to see how we prepare and line up against MK Dons, even with players out. I am aware of their quality, and you don’t reach second place this early without it. Likewise, with Notts, it’s not luck that we are at the top of the table. This and our winning streak need to be protected. I think Notts will be a bit more defensive, but not at the cost of attacking. I just feel that Luke Williams will set Notts up to be patient at the back, with our strong midfield putting in a shift in both areas.
  24. I think we just need to focus on playing positive, forward-passing football against MK Dons. There will be times when we do need to go back, but we should avoid going all the way back where possible. I think they would punish us if we got caught napping while passing the ball to Aiden Stone. They are one of those teams who thrive on teams that make slip-ups or mistakes, so I hope we make it as hard as possible. The likely outcome of a draw stands out to me. I think we will cancel each other out. A win would be nice, but I just don’t see it myself. Both us and them know what to do to keep the score to a minimum and both enjoy having possession of the ball.
  25. Macaulay Langstaff never stops running, not only to get onto chases but also against defenders and the opposition keeper. He’s more than a warrior; he’s just relentless with his pressing. It’s similar to Cedwyn Scott, which is why I think they both work so well together. I am pleased for Langstaff to have the spotlight on him. He’s showing that there are goals for him in League Two, and against Accrington Stanley, I thought he looked fantastic on goal.
