An incredible stat
The status of English players playing at the highest level beyond the age of 40 is certainly interesting. While it may be less common for goalkeepers to continue playing at this age, it seems more likely for outfield players.

Darnell Fisher
It would be fantastic to have him on board, but if he is here to sign, it is unclear why terms have not already been agreed with him. There does not seem to be any obvious reason for a delay. It is possible that the club wanted to take a closer look at him or that they are doing him a favour. Of course, this is just speculation and I could be wrong. Unless the club announces the signing before the game tomorrow, it is difficult to understand why there would be a delay

Curtis Thompson joins Cheltenham
On a different note, I wish Curtis Thompson all the best. I initially thought we might see him, but then I realised that his team is still in League One.

Ground share with F*rest
Owning the ground could indeed provide Notts County with added security over the club’s future and prevent them from being drawn into discussions about ground sharing. The only reason for not owning the land would be if the owners cannot afford it. While concerns about dodgy owners may be valid, it is not necessarily true that the council would be any more trustworthy. At any point, they could decide not to renew the lease to Notts County.

Captain Kyle Cameron Discusses Notts County’s Training Regime
It is heartening to see Kyle Cameron’s confidence in his team as they prepare for the upcoming season. His enthusiasm is a reflection of the team’s determination to succeed and make a strong showing in League Two. The team’s spirit and drive will undoubtedly be a key factor in their performance this season. Kyle Cameron’s positive attitude towards his team’s prospects is a testament to their hard work and dedication. The team’s determination to succeed is evident in their preparations for the upcoming season, and their focus on achieving success in League Two is commendable. With such a strong drive to succeed, it will be exciting to see how the team performs in the coming months.

Notts County Ready for League Two: Manager Luke Williams Shares Insights
Luke Williams clearly understands the challenges of the League Two. increased pace, quality, and athletic prowess, but his parallel emphasis on causing these players problems speaks about his balanced strategy that includes both defence and attack. However, dealing with deep block tactics efficiently might be another challenge, but I trust Williams and the squad to come up with a viable game plan to deal with such situations.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Aims for Top Three in League Two
I like Kyle Cameron’s take on the team’s training regime. It has left me feeling like we are on the verge of something special again, I'm looking forward to the first kick-off. It signals a team that is physically robust, mentally prepared, and united in their aspirations for League Two. I see very exciting times ahead!

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Us (A)
In terms of the upcoming game, it seems likely that Notts County will be in control. A final score of 1-3 with Macaulay Langstaff scoring twice and David McGoldrick getting the other goal seems plausible. It would be great to see a strong squad fielded, with Jodi Jones included in the starting lineup. He offers a lot of direct threat and it would be better to have him on from the start rather than bringing him on as a substitute. Ultimately, as long as the performance is decent and Notts bring back the points, that’s all that matters.

Notts online shop deliveries
It’s definitely a big task to dispatch all of the shirts efficiently, but you would hope that the club would pull together and get help from other departments to ensure that everything runs smoothly. It’s concerning that people are ordering shirts and they’re not being sent out quickly enough. The club needs to plan things better and perhaps invest in more stock without waiting until Christmas.

Will there be a summer this year?
Unfortunately, it seems like there’s no chance of avoiding the rain this year. However, at least we’ve had some sunshine. The main concern now is that winter might be colder than usual, which could be difficult for elderly people due to the cost of living and rising energy prices.

Calling overseas fans - iFollow
The offer for fans to catch night time games is a very good one, and it’s great that UK fans have this opportunity. It can be difficult to always make it to games in person, so having this option is a real bonus. It would be especially nice to be able to see more away games.

Notts in the media spotlight
In terms of the footage, it’s not clear if it will be available online, but it’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for what Charlie Slater has to say. It’s great to see that he hasn’t completely left Notts County behind and is still involved in some capacity. Hopefully, he’ll have more praise for Notts than for Mansfield, unless the preview is solely focused on Notts.

Jayden Richardson joins Stockport
It’s clear that the player in question gave his all for the team, and it’s understandable that he was disappointed about his mistake. However, it’s important to remember that everyone makes mistakes, and if we were to dwell on each one, the list would be never-ending. It’s unfortunate that he left feeling like he had ruined the team’s chances at promotion, but we wish him all the best at Stockport County.

Notts County’s Pre-Season: A Recap of the Squad’s Progress
It’s fantastic to see how seamlessly the new recruits, Dan Crowley and David McGoldrick, have integrated into Williams’ system. They’ve both shown themselves to be valuable additions to the team, and their contributions have already made a noticeable impact. With these strong new players on board, there’s a real sense of optimism and excitement for the upcoming season. Here’s hoping that their performances continue to impress and that the team as a whole can build on this positive momentum to achieve great success.

I newspaper on Notts
Very good article. It does make a change to read things where people don’t have it in for us or show a level of bias towards other clubs.

Ian Burchnall interview with TalkSport
I didn’t like the way he left, but I understood his anger with the small number of people who were booing. I think it’s bad when a manager takes it out on the whole fan base instead of being professional. Refusing to do the interviews just made him look childish. As I say, I understand him being annoyed, but he should continue to be professional. I think he thought it would be a bed of roses at Forest Green. Very few FGR fans would mention anything kind about him; most felt he was out of his depth. He might be a good manager when a team is established, but I think him dropping to coaching and assisting a manager is one of his best decisions.

League Two preview in the Grauniad
I enjoyed the article; the cartoon made me laugh. I think there are a lot of good sides in this league, and it will be determined by who picks up those crucial wins. For us, I think it will be the physical and top teams we need to play our best against. I am not so worried about the average/poor teams.

More injury misery for Callum Roberts?
It’s good that Cal Roberts hasn’t broken a bone. A fracture would be a serious delay in his career, but I hope he comes back stronger and avoids picking up further injuries this season.

Lionesses
Tomorrow, England ladies take on China. A win means the group is won. I am hoping to catch it, but if it’s boring, I will turn over. I can’t stand games where the action isn’t lively. I used to watch the Champions League games on normal TV when I was younger, but stopped when most were dull. I haven’t watched them for a while either.

Jack Bearne joins Greenock Morton
It’s a good move for Jack. I think the Scottish Championship will give him plenty of opportunities to come good, and they should play him, which is a bonus.

RIP Sinéad O’Connor
I watched a tribute to Sinead O'Connor, her story was very sad but it's good that she managed to keep her music going even if she remained out of the spotlight during most of her career. It's a shame, but she leaves a legacy. I hope that inspires others. Rest in peace, Sinead O'Connor.

2023-2024 Squad
I do hope the club puts these out, as I would like to buy one for my bedroom wall.

Ollie Tipton joins from Wolves
I am delighted and excited about the signing of Ollie Tipton. Luke Williams speaks very highly of him and although it’s just a loan, it’s nice to know the club can identify young talent like this to add further depth. I think it makes sense not to blow the budget signing players that might not feature much but can come in as required.
