Very interesting speech by Lord Frost opening a debate in the House of Lords on the cost of renewables. Current subsidiaries for renewable energy is costing every household £400 per year. When renewable energy isn't needed even though it is windy. The companies are paid £2.5 billion a year to switch the windmills off. The cost of helping pensioners with the cost of energy this winter would have been just 1.4billion.

It's time to stop being a Remoaner & move on and look forward to the good things that a post Brexit UK can be with the right Government in place.

@DangerousSausage Misleading information? In your opinion, but in reality no Autumn & Winter is the time when the temperature drops considerably, if you didn't notice. There is going to be a big demand for power, electricity and gas usage is going to go up tremendously. The Country no longer has the energy generation capacity to supply during peak demand. Fossil fuels are still going to be relatively cheap in the US & now Trump is now in power he's going to reverse any movement to renewables, while this government will just carry on regardless to net zero. Having to import electricity from abroad is a national disgrace, & shutting down the coal fired power stations & building windmills that have no wind to power them half the time, is a nation calamity. Renewable energy is more expensive. We are also paying the renewable levy in our bills making our bills more expensive. Shutting down Oil exploration, stopping new coal mines, shutting down the coalmines in the first place & banning fracking is going to put our industry, what's left of it, to a big disadvantage internationally. And domestic energy bills in this Country, which is the highest in the World, will only get more expensive, unless these policies are reversed. And this Labour government stopped the winter fuel allowance for millions of pensioners just like me. That's my take. People can judge by how expensive their bill is now, & in the future, but if anyone thinks that energy prices will ever reduce in this Country, think again. The only way that they will reduce if government reverse this crazy obsession with green policies.

Good afternoon. Nice Sunny Autumnal weather here today. The sub is low but still warm in the sun although the temperature is low. Looks like the neighbours around us are taking advantage and cutting the grass for the final time this year. Has anyone written out their Xmas cards yet? The wife was busy doing that yesterday. We always send our Xmas cards away early so it's all done and dusted. Can't believe the cost of a stamp nowadays. £1:65 for a first class & 85p for a second class stamp. The cost of everything is just going up & up.

Another tough game coming up on Saturday. It's great news that Cedwyn has returned & scored his first goal of the season. This will give Stuart more options for the match against Crewe. I hope that Dan Crowley & Scott Robertson are got to return too. We didn't see Rob Cundy in the squad against Leicester. I wonder if he has a knock that stopped him being considered. A big positive for Stuart was the way the Notts defence & defensive midfield played against Leicester, so again, it gives Stuart plenty of options.

@Pies79 I'd like to see Scott lead the line with Brown & Crowley just behind him. Scott deserves a chance to lead the line. I think that's his best position.
