Who's Your Notts Man of the Match v Carlisle?
Well done, Alex Bass! He put in a top performance yesterday and was vital in helping us keep a clean sheet. He’s a top keeper, and we are very lucky to have him here. We should see many more top performances from him.

Who's Your Notts Man of the Match v Carlisle?
Without Alex Bass tonight, we wouldn’t be celebrating the win. They might have come back or even won the game. It’s not that we were bad defensively, but we did rely on luck at times, and Bass was outstanding.

Match Report: Early Goals and Solid Defence See Notts County Defeat Carlisle United 2-0
We were a bit fortunate in the second half, but Alex Bass was brilliant in goal. Defensively, we looked strong, though there were a few moments when Carlisle managed to get a shot off. I thought they were quite poor up front and at the back, but their midfield wasn't an issue. I'm proud to see us hold on to the lead we worked hard for, and to get a clean sheet as well.

Another Possible Loanee From Spurs Come January
I trust the club to make the right decisions, and as fans, our role is to encourage the club to use academy players and support them in their development. When they're ready, we'll see them, and I dream of the day when we're promoting our own talent. But for now, we do need to work with players from other clubs too. I'm okay with that, as long as they come here wanting to work hard and earn their place, not expect it just because of where they come from.

Should there be more protection for players?
The referee and officials are meant to put players' health and wellbeing first. Reckless and rash challenges need to be stamped out of the game. It doesn't always need to result in cards; a good official should be able to manage it with their voice. If that doesn't work, then the cards should come out. I believe everyone on the pitch deserves protection, including defenders who sometimes get hit hard by attacking players.

Congratulations Countyman
Nice one, @Robbie. Well done to you, @Countyman. Glad to see you've reached the grandmaster milestone on PON.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Blues (A)
I think it's one of those games where we should do better. I can't see Carlisle wanting to sit back and wait. While they might be patient, I fully expect them to try and overpower Notts. They have some very good young players who, on their day, can change a game in an instant. The problem is, when they attack, they can leave themselves wide open, and Notts should go at them directly. It would be good to see some shots from near the edge of the box. It's a tough game to predict, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended 2-2 or 2-3. I just hope we show our quality and leave knowing we gave it our all.

Who is your Notts man of the match v Morecambe?
Well deserved! I think David McGoldrick was class and a shining light with his performance for us yesterday.

Match Report: Notts County Held to a Frustrating 1-1 Draw at Morecambe
I can’t fault the outcome. Yes, the first half could have been better, but it could have been worse. Their goal was a fluke with how it landed. I don’t have any issue leaving with a point, as Notts improved in the second half, and that’s typical of football at this level. If we want to get promoted, we need to be patient and avoid moaning. We should get back to winning ways. Make a point, but there’s no need to be negative.

"A Deserved Point" – Stuart Maynard on Notts County's Tough Draw with Morecambe
Notts fought hard, and we need to remember that the changes we made had an impact. The lads who went off had tried their best and were exhausted. We needed that effort, and the point is a good one despite the chances we had. I have no complaints about the draw. I know some will be disappointed, and I felt that in the first half, but watching David McGoldrick and Dan Crowley put in good performances, and then seeing the changes in the second half push for the draw, showed real spirit!

Who is your Notts man of the match v Morecambe?
I thought David McGoldrick worked very hard and took it upon himself to try to influence the game. People say he played too deep, but some of his defensive work saved us from danger, and his efforts to get us attacking were similar to Dan Crowley’s. Didzy gets it for me.

Notts County's Youngest Ever Player: Kameron Muir Breaks 25-Year-Old Record
When I looked at the two squads, I thought Burton would have been more in control of the game. Listening to the match on the radio, it sounded like our squad was up against it at times. You see the number of young players starting, and you can see this is their chance to show what they can do. I am delighted for all five of the academy players, but for Kameron Muir to make his senior debut at the age of 15 and become the youngest Notts player ever, that is special. I hope they can take this performance and use it to get more opportunities in the first team in the future.

Aiden Stone to Boston on Loan
It was a strange decision to bring in Aiden Stone, only to give up on him after one season. I feel sorry for him. He might not be the best at times, but I thought he would be useful as our backup. Instead, he remains unwanted. It makes you think that Tom Weal paid the price for Stone failing.

Notts County Women updates
Good win for the reserves. I wish whoever made the graphics would remove the effect over the pictures. It would look much nicer on the eyes. Also, I’m glad that the ladies’ team has signed a new player.

Wimbledon's pitch damaged by flooding
How does water cause that kind of damage? The person in the video is right; it does look like a golf course. But I am unsure why the damage is only in one area. If it was caused by rain, why not other areas? It could be a natural disaster, or maybe the pump used to clear the water was misused.

Match Discussion: Trophy - The Brewers (A)
I am pleased for Riley Reynolds for assisting Kellen Gordon. Reynolds played for 76 minutes, while James Sanderson played for over 45 minutes. Madou Cisse played the full game. It was interesting to see Sam Slocombe captain the team. It was a very good win for Notts, who had a vastly changed side.

Faces of PON 24-25: Gillingham (H)
It’s great that you’re doing this more often, mate. You do a fantastic job for Notts fans, and this is a brilliant set of photos. The Faces of PON is back, and the gaffer is doing a terrific job! Great to see, @Chris.

Match Report: Controversial Offside Decision Costs Notts County in Narrow Defeat
It was a frustrating game because of the officials, but I credit Gillingham for getting the result despite all our pressure and efforts. I hope they can see how unfortunate we were and how well we played. Yes, Gillingham are decent defensively, but it was their goal and their keeper who saved them many times. I thought Notts were the better team for the most part. The stats show we were good on the ball but perhaps not our best when it came to being clinical. It's the officials who frustrate me, not Gillingham. They came well-supported and must have left happy.

Ex Notts analyst Craig Cope
How do you go from leaving football, after studying for the position, just because you are fired following the exit of a manager, to “overseeing a corporate company”? People spend years waiting for a break, so I am not sure how this worked out. I see shades of Alan Hardy, with a delusional side to his claims. Why even mention knowing he wasn’t going to be a footballer? He learned from watching teams like Torquay and Plymouth, and knew instantly what worked? I feel I have a good understanding of football, but that doesn’t mean I know everything or that I couldn’t improve. Admitting he didn’t make it as a coach seems to show he doesn’t have the credible skills. You don’t need to be good at football to coach, but it helps. So far, he seems to discredit himself in the wrong areas. A scout evaluates and suggests potential players. An analyst watches football footage and breaks it down, then reports to the manager, so he has all the information to prepare for training and tactics. Neither typically "signs players." Did Neal Ardley get him the job at AFC Wimbledon, or did he just make friends with people who knew Neal Ardley, then managed to get a position? Ending the interview by saying he would love to leave for a Championship team, while at a club that has given him his best opportunity yet? He loves the idea of a legacy footballers leave behind. Sorry, I don’t buy anything he says. He sounds like a snake.

Stuart Maynard’s Optimism: Key Players Return as Notts County Prepares for Gillingham Showdown
The squad is looking good. Maynard keeps mentioning the depth, and we do have that. I am not too concerned about players being injured while we are playing well. They will just be a boost when they are ready. We don’t need to worry so much about that. Just focus on the form and keeping Meadow Lane a fortress. It would be great to continue our impressive start against Gillingham tomorrow.

Dan Crowley: "My Focus Is on Notts. I’m a Notts County Player."
Quality player! I'm delighted to see him thriving and fully enjoying life at Notts. I hope his words are a bit of comfort to those who worry about him being sold or leaving. I prefer not to concentrate on that. I wait for it to happen because it’s out of my control. What I do is see the improvements such a good player brings to the team. Dan Crowley is a great talent, and seeing him play for us in League Two gives me hope that we can gain promotion to League One.

Jones and Crowley make EFL Team of the Week (that's all of the EFL, not just EFL2)!
It’s good for the players; they deserve to be named in the one the EFL does. I haven’t seen if Sky does one themselves, but I know they do for the leagues. I think we need them to repeat their Bromley and Grimsby performances against Gillingham. If they play well, then I would feel confident about doing well.
