Dan Crowley is fit, ready & available.
Dan Crowley played for around 65 minutes on Saturday against Salford before being substituted. To be honest I would have preferred that he would have been on the bench & come on for 30 minutes in the second half to manage his fitness.

@Piethagoram You can defend Labour all you want. You can go on about the £22 billion black hole as much as you like. Many Pensioners are most likely going to die this winter due to Labour policy of taking away their fuel allowance. What a mean thing to do to people that they should be helping. Labour are paying for projects abroad that should have gone toward helping our own pensioners, ie, Ukraine, UNHCR A £50 million package for Syria that could go to help the homeless. You cannot defend the indefensible. Labours poll numbers are dropping like a stone. People across the Country are making their decision about two tier Kier. He'll be a one term failure.- Newspaper cartoon of the day

I'm not bothered who takes over to be honest. Too much pundit talk and too little action for my liking.- Des Buckingham Has Left Oxford United
He wouldn't come down two divisions to manage Notts. Notts couldn't afford his wage demands. I don't want a manager who was sacked anyway when we have a perfectly good Head Coach right now who's been doing an excellent job. This anti Maynard hysteria really has to stop.- 10 best Notts County Managers
@Piethagoram Kendall was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2005 in recognition of his contribution as a manager to the English game. (Source Google) Let's see your list of Notts County greatest managers then if you can think of one.- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
So @gtownjohnno Give some constructive sensible feedback on the match.- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
So Stuart put George in that role. Are you saying @Piethagoram that he made a good choice putting him there? I don't think that George was as influential has he has been of late- Des Buckingham Has Left Oxford United
This is a real surprise. Seems that getting a club promoted doesn't stop a manager getting the push when fortunes take a dip. I think that changing a Manager half way through a season smacks of desperation if it is not forced on a club. Good luck to them if they feel a new man will bring them success, but it is taking a risk that it may not happen.- Des Buckingham Has Left Oxford United

I don't think we will be interested in any player from Salford. They play a different system to us for starters.- Who is your Man of the Match v Salford?
I think we need to send a message to our team that we will support them through the bad as well as the good results, & hope for a good result for the next game. No matter the result, a player will stand out above the rest. That's who I voted for. Welcome back Dan. You've been missed.- Weekly Chat - Monday 9th - Sunday 15th December
Good afternoon. A damp and dreary day here. Goes with the current mood doesn't it. In times like this it is always fascinating to see how Notts fans deal with a very bad result. It is usually divided by those who see a glass half empty or a glass half full. I try to look at the positives rather than the negatives when it comes to sport because sport, especially football can be an up and down thing with one's emotions. So I suppose I'm in the glass half full camp, but there again, I can't say that's always been 100% the case.- Who is your Man of the Match v Salford?
It was a dissapointing result yesterday. Our players didn't play to their full potential for variety of reasons. However, some of our players did stand out from the rest. Nick Tsaroulla stood out even though he wasn't at his best, the same with Matty Platt, & Jacob Bedeau. I thought that Martin & Hinchy were better than some when they came on. I do believe that Dan Crowley did stand out above the rest even though it was a bad day at the office for the team. So my Man of the Match for Notts is Dan Crowley.- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
Crowley is a talented midfielder. Are you saying he can't play defensive midfield? Stuart wouldn't have played him there if Dan wasn't comfortable in that position. I would have played Abbott & Palmer together & had Crowley on the bench coming back from injury.- Three Points From a Playoff Place
The day after being totally outplayed by a league 2 team at their place, all be it, being totally outplayed once in nineteen games played this season. I want to inject some positivity by saying that Notts are only three points away from the play off places with 27 games still to play & 81 points to play for. Notts under Stuart Maynard, have suffered a catalogue of player injuries over the last few months with key players out of contention Notts have slipped down the table, but it could have been a lot worse. Up to eight key players missing for a period can have a big effect on a teams performance. The remaining players have done very well to remain competitive under Stuart's leadership to stay in contention over the last dozen or so matches. One very poor performance against a team that used the conditions & their tactics against Notts to the full, doesn't define a whole season. I believe we should all get behind the team on Saturday against Bradford and get a win that could get Notts back on track again. Key players will be returning and that will be a big positive as well as the possibility of new players being signed in January. There is lots to look forward to for the rest of the season.- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
I think he should have waited & reflected on it before he gave his report & ratings for the players. I'll repeat again that Salford outplayed us because they played well & used the pitch & their tactics to their advantage. We should credit them for that. We were totally outplayed on the day & just need to learn from it Other organisations rate the Notts players, in the low 5/10 (Bass) to the high 6/10 bracket, (Crowley).- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
Totally agree @Fan of Big Tone We know that the fans are upset, I'm upset myself that we lost, but we should all take a step back and just admit that we were outplayed totally by a team for the first time this season, and just move on to the next game. Maynard and his coaching team have done well to keep Notts competitive for all this time with up to 8 key players missing at times. I say again, 81 POINTS TO PLAY FOR. Notts just 3 POINTS FROM THE PLAYOFFS, with everything to play for.- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
How about giving the Salford team credit for playing really well. It's going to happen a few times in a season, where the opposing team win because they play well, & nullify the Notts threat.- The Race To Net Zero.
@Piethagoram Reality check. Labour are the government. They own it. Labour are trashing the economy. They have put the UK on the edge of a damaging recession. They've upset the farmers, they couldn't care a jot about the pensioners, while sending money abroad. They've trashed our industry. Net zero is killing it. We have the highest energy prices in the western world due to net zero policies. Our industry cannot complete. Starmer is the most hated PM ever. Almost 3 million have signed a petition wanting a new election. He even has a song about him, showing how he is treating our pensioners. Looks like it will be a Xmas number 1. How can anyone defend this rabble of a government?- Match Discussion: Game 20 - The Ammies (A)
Can't believe what I'm reading on here post match. It was a really bad day at the office for the Notts team. Stuart Maynard came out post match & apologised to the fans. He didn't make any excuses and took the responsibility for the defeat. That's what good leaders do. We have to give Salford the credit for their win, because they had a plan and it worked perfectly for them. They were just better than Notts on every area of the pitch on Saturday. But I don't understand the pile on from a few members on here post match against Maynard. Reality check. Notts have had so many injuries to key players, but despite that, & due to the effort of the players available to Stuart, Notts are still just three points from a play off position & there are still 81 points to play for. Three teams in addition to Notts out of the top eleven lost yesterday, Doncaster, MK Dons & Grimsby. Notts are still very much in the hunt to get success this season. It's far too early to write the team off just yet. Next week Notts play Bradford at home. A good result will put Notts back on track. To say that Maynard is out of his depth is frankly a ludicrous assertion. A change of manager isn't going to make a difference, & may actually make things worse. Notts fans need to just calm down, take a chill pill, & cheer on the team next Saturday at Meadow Lane.- Who is your Man of the Match v Salford?
A dissapointing performance by Notts against Salford. But who was the best Notts player on the field of play against Salford? My Player shortlist is:- Crowley, Tsaroulla, Martin, Bedeau, Ness, Hinchy, Austin, Platt, McGoldrick. - General football fact of the day
