Notts have to get that first win now whilst the gap isn't that large, the pressure may get worse if they don't pull themselves together now. I know Notts tends to make it harder for themselves but now is the time to rise. 1-0 win. I am predicting a better defensive show but still worries about dropsee Fitz.

Good game, poor goals that ended up being conceded and further signs that we have more than a defence issues. The positives is are there for once.

If Oxlade-Chamberlain can get his act together, Notts could have a lot of pace on the wings with the arrival of Evina. This could leave Jones to be used as backup in the centre. The squad doesn't need anymore additions unless a goalkeeper is available, I feel this set of players must start to work as a team and lift their own morale up. Tomorrow is looking more appealing now.

The display was much worse than under Kevin Nolan. Notts picked the ball up and defended quite well early on but that soon stopped, nobody seemed to want the ball apart from David Vaughan who chased things down and used the ball well especially in the first half. How he continues to draw criticism whilst Ross Fitzsimons is defended is baffling. He seem will get stick for trying, whilst others are a big disappointment. Dan Jones also made the defence very weak in my opinion and Elliot Hewitt needs to be dropped. The game was not a 3-1 encounter, Forest Green barely played better than Notts.

It's hard to think Notts can get anything from this when I don't know what Steve Chettle brings. It could go anyway, it all depends on how they perform.

If you look and watch his eyes, he seems to be hurting. Some fans should cut him more slack and try to think how they are impacting the current situation.

We are having the complete opposite to last season. Hardworking Notts squad fights for the playoffs, technically good squad on paper struggling to do the backs and sinking quicker to the bottom of the league than we have experienced before. Last nights result is shocking, Nolan now needs to address the issue by making changes.

I wouldn't say it's unbalanced myself, the players are just failing to grasp the tactics and game instructions. The relapse in the defence can be blamed on several players being desperately out of form, combined with incompetence and a lack of discipline. I enjoyed the blog @Piethagoram despite our views differing.

I see nothing with how he speaks, what he says or how he appears. Fans are jumping the gun and once one says differently, it just takes a few to agree before it's all over the place.

I'm just going to hope Notts can win but I can see it ending as a draw very easily.

Well it wasn't Notts that disappointed last night was it @Northants Pie. Overall good performance, the players worked hard and passed the ball around nice. Tom Crawford looks like the real deal, his goal may have been straight forward but he took it confidently. The defence does need to mark better, when other PON members see the goals for themselves they will agree. There was virtually no effort and Ross Fitzsimons couldn't do a thing. Well done Notts.

Several big misses, horrible defending and Cambridge United can consider them lucky just how poor Notts was at the back.

Ex players should but even this wouldn't improve the overall standing of how poor officials can be, this needs to be learned and it had to be started from the training given.

I am expecting another draw, but Notts needs to win.

After the last two league games for Yeovil, I expect them to put a performance together. Hopefully this won't be Tuesday, but the best team will win. I am not sure we can start Ameobi and Stead again together. Save them for Saturday.

I prefer Fitzsimons myself but understand the view points shared by Lewis. Collin has been much better during this campaign and most of the mistakes was pushed onto him, so Nolan will have a tough decision to make eventually.

Nolan is trying to be to much like Big Sam. We are not a Prem side able to carry this off, we don't have the players.

We just got everything all wrong, Kevin Nolan has tough decisions to make about a select few players who so far do not warrant a starting position at all.

Not sure we can compare it to the goal scored by Jon Stead, your player was never in any danger.

It was a red card no question but people see things different, some see only what they want.

I fear this will be a loss for Notts but we should be able to avoid any free fall from it.
