Goalkeeper is latest signing
I've heard good things about the new goalkeeper signing. It's always nice to have some healthy competition in the squad, but I do hope Tiernan Brooks gets a chance to prove himself and gain some experience.

Carabao Cup 1st round fixture announced
I like the draw and I don’t understand why some fans would be against it. If anyone reads this and feels disappointed, please be assured that if you share your reasons here, you will be respected. However, if you do feel this way, make sure those reasons aren’t just frustration or a complaint for the sake of it. Lincoln City is a very nice draw after all the poor games we tend to get.

Charlie Slater interviews David McGoldrick
Charlie, sit properly when you’re interviewing someone; don’t sit all smug with your foot under yourself. It’s a good interview, but Slater is like a chalkboard to me.

Wembley Stadium
Is that all? £12.50? Don’t buy a programme and you’ve already saved half of that.

Dan Crowley: Notts County’s Achievements and Style of Play a Winning Combination
The club is doing well, not only with recruitment and the measures Notts has in place to identify talent that can take the club further, but also with winning players on board. I think Luke Williams will play a further role in demonstrating that we are building in the right way. Everything Dan Crowley says reflects so well on Notts right now.

Notts County’s Time Capsule: What Would You Include?
I would sneak one of these into the capsule, but instead of Derby, not that @super_ram would mind, but Notts County colours instead.

Vicky McClure
Vicky's work with others who have been through what she did with her grandmother is a very kind act. She met with a group in Wollaton and offered them help, which I thought was amazing when I read about it. She's a gem for sure, with a heart of gold. She might say it's her line of duty after what her grandmother went through, but anyone raising funds that go to help others and promote awareness etc. is a touching thing.

Key Dates in Notts County’s 2023-24 Season
It’s a satisfactory draw; no complaints from me. Plenty of different teams to play home and away, no real extensive run of either home or away games grouped together in a row.

Notts County’s Permanent Signings: Who’s Your Favourite?
I’ve also chosen David McGoldrick, mainly because I value his experience. I think he’s a good addition to the squad and I’m particularly interested to see how he performs.

Has Notts forgotten about Junior Morias?
It’s good to have backup, and I believe he will get some playing time. However, whether he’ll be content with not playing regularly is another matter. In response to @Fan of Big Tone, we did sign him, but unfortunately he got injured during training. That kept him out of the game for a while, and currently he seems to be more of a secondary option.

Fixture list announced
The start is promising and there’s an opportunity to build momentum early on if the results go our way. The Tranmere game will be a good opportunity to start strong. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the release of the fixtures.

NottsLoyal says hello
Hello, @NottsLoyal. Its very nice to see you have introduced yourself. This is a good site, so welcome from me too.

Notts County’s Next Signings: What Position Should They Be?
I think there’s still room for a few more competitive places. I might be inclined to see the club bring in another keeper and this would depend on securing Tiernan Brooks a full season’s loan deal with a team that will stick with him at the highest possible level. If Aarone Nemane signs, I think the right side is complete. I would say two CBs, one young to bring through as Connell Rawlinson reaches the end of his time at the club and an experienced player to fight for his place in the heart of the defence. A left-back/winger would be good. I think the midfield is perfectly fine at this stage.

Belated promotion celebrations “not feasible”
It’s not unlike the council to do U-turns when it suits them. I don’t think they have ever known what they’re doing. It’s such a shambles and way too late anyway.

Dan Crowley: The Journey of an Individual Player - ‘I’m My Own Player'
Dan Crowley has had an interesting career, starting at Villa and moving to Arsenal. A lot of good players have also come from Coventry. I wonder what makes the city so special in producing talented players? I think he will be a fine player for Notts.

The Highs and Lows of Notts County’s National League Years: Overcoming Adversity
Our time in the National League has indeed made the club rethink things. With the new ownership at the beginning, it was the reset that we needed. Seeing Notts finish consistently in the playoffs shows the forward thinking of the club. I enjoyed the article and feel that it captured the ups and downs of the team’s journey.

Cal Roberts joins Scunthorpe United
I would agree that Notts has evolved since Cal was here. He was a great player, albeit a bit too prone to injury, but he should do well for Scunthorpe United who need to get back up to the National League quickly.
-
Dan Crowley signs
Dan Crowley is a good signing for Notts, his wiki seems very positive and his arrival comes as a boost.
-
Darren Moore and Gary O'neil - Sacked.
I can understand why you feel sorry for Darren Moore. It’s possible that he’s not the type of manager to make budget demands and that it’s more to do with having very limited transfer funds. He might have been told to sell to make more funds to bring in players. We can only speculate, but it’s certainly sad for Owls fans. As for Bournemouth, I don’t really know much about their situation either.

Notts County signs former Arsenal academy graduate Dan Crowley on 2-year-deal
This does indeed look to be a very good signing, and I’m glad you’re impressed. The recruitment does seem to be adding quality into the areas where we most need that extra bit of quality. Dan Crowley looks to be an excellent addition to the team.

Whose birthday is it today?
Happy Birthday, Tony! I hope everything is well at your home and that you can celebrate your day with your family.

League 2 - Favourite away ground?
Nice and friendly fans? Wrexham fans were great. Great pubs nearby? Grimsby, Mansfield, MK Dons, Stockport County, Swindon, Tranmere are all great places for bars and pubs. Good, pies, food etc? There are some nice places to eat near Bradford City's ground. Easy to get to? I would say, Mansfield it's just a short ride.

Jordan Richards to Boston United
It seems like a good move for Jordan Richards. I hope he manages to impress and can finally build on his career.

David Raya Comments
I would just get rid of him. When he moves to Spurs and doesn’t win a single thing and causes them misery in the process, he may regret his decisions and actions while Brentford keeps going from strength to strength.
